Eric and Corinne were absolutely charming, and just so helpful: their English is more than adequate. Walk through the courtyard, where you can sit outside, to the bedrooms, which overlook the rear garden and therefore very quiet. Beds are comfortable, rooms are a good size with spacious clean bathroom. Kettle, hair dryer etc available on request. Free Wifi. Breakfast was... More

Outside La Residence looks tiny but inside there is a courtyard and eclectic decor. The owners are very nice and speak some english. The bed is comfortable. The continental breakfast is of a very high quality. And there is a cat.

We found the hotel convenient for town but quiet, very clean and the room spacious. Comfortable beds and excellent shower. we applaud the owners non smoking policy and their concern for the environment in all the products and services they use. Help and advice was readily given, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast excellent value for money, with homemade produce.

We came across this hotel when searching for a one night stay. We were very pleased to have found it! The hotel was old with plenty of character. The price was reasonable and the young owner could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The hotel had a pleasant courtyard for a delicious breakfast on spotless tables decked with new... More

When planning hotels for a cycle trip I check tripadvisor for 'friendly', 'clean' and 'place to store the bikes'. This hotel excels in all three categories. The owners have a very friendly welcome and we could store our bikes in the garage at arrival. Our room was large, cool and very clean. It was facing the garden and the light... More

We spent a night there and were impressed with the location and friendliness of the owner. He couldnt have been more hellpful. The breakfast was excellent with fresh orange juice, lovely bread, and home made yoghurt and jams. We hear they will be doing dinner , and we are sure that will be up to the high standard of breakfast

Spent 5 nights there last week and it was great. EXTREMELY clean rooms!!!! The couple that own the place are so courteous and friendly, you almost don't want to leave. The breakfast was nice. Fresh coffee (no instant [--]), freshly baked bread and croissants and the lady of the house makes the marmalade and jams. Great deal, free WI-FI and... More

There's nothing flash here, but the hotel is clean, the rooms are light and airy and the owners couldn't be more charming. Rooms are near a pretty courtyard and the hotel is in easy walking distance of Villeneuve Sur Lot. All in all great value for money.

The rooms are not very modern but the ones with en-suite bathroom (with bath) are perfectly comfortable. Good value for money. Lovely little garden and courtyard where breakfast is served. Peaceful place located near the old train station.
