The hotel lobby looked good, and therefore the hotel should be ok. Or so we thought. AC didn't work, everyting in the hotel felt very old and the employees at the front desk didn't speak english and were a bit rude. The hotel was located in an alley which felt a bit sketchy, with some sloppy looking bars. The plus... More

Big building (like chinese hotels), but seem to had better times before. The cleanness is OK. Big rooms with airco and hot water in the bathroom. Wifi included. The plumbing need some renovation. Breakfast is not worth to eat. Few tourists are coming here, the staff did not speak nor understand 1 word English. Elevator is OK.

To stay one night passing Chumpon the hotel is a good choice. Good location, near restaurant Fame. Also nice to walk around and see the Thai shops and life. The room was OK, clean and good for the price. Needed some paint and old fashioned, but we don't care much about that. Big parking place. The staff was friendly and... More

Comfortable bed and pillows. 2 comfortable chairs and small table. The breakfast included in room rate is pretty good. Convenient location in the depth... More

Only stayed one night, but thought this hotel was terrific value for money. I believe it's being refurbished, though we stayed in a standard room, which was light, roomy, good bathroom. Loved the spacious reception area.

This hotel is not for those who are faint hearted and/or afraid of ghosts, but sure has a unique charm. It is the oldest and first hotel in Chumpon dating back to before WWII. The rooms include most all the original antique furniture including four-post-hand-painted forged-iron beds. It is perfect local for back-packers on a budget and/or those looking for... More
