We stayed there all together for more than 2 weeks this year. The hotel was very flexible with bookings on short notice, and also with bookings (and cancellations) of extra rooms on short notice for friends and family who visited us. The hotel is fairly new and rooms are of good quality. Shower has instant water heater and gives fairly...

To start, the staff of the hotel are nice and accommodating. Always with a smiling face. We stayed in the 4th floor and the room was clean and equipped with our basic need such as small refrigerator, thermos. The lighting and the air condition is good. The price is reasonable. I will recommend this hotel for family get together.

Books the Nicanor Suite for 3 nights. We were supposed to arrive on the Friday night but they cancelled our ferry so we flew down next morning. We arrive and they assumed we were not turning up and have gone ahead and rented the room I had already paid for out to someone else. So an inferior quality room with...

Location would be the biggest mitigating factor for this hotel. Sans Rival is a few steps away as well as the Boulevard. Room is really spacious even considering we were four in our room assignment. This was our first stop and we barely stayed in the room. Sleep quality was ok but no wow factor. Furniture / cabinet was really...

Room ok, dark and for a city hotel very silent, room rate with 1300 P without breakfast at the upper limit, staff friendly and helpful - but there are also two down-sides: At first there is a "back to school promo" for 550 Peso - but checking for that at the reception revealed that it is only for 4 hours...

The price is very reasonable as the room is BIG, BIG beds, very clean and friendly staff… walked around the city since the location is right in the middle…. no worries on where to eat, many...

perfect location. in the middle of the dumaguete's restaurants and stores. a block away from the famous boulevard where, where you can find other restaurants too. no need to worry to go anywhere within the city if you're staying in hotel nicanor because it's right in the heart of dumaguete….. perfect location indeed! price is just right for the pocket!

The Nicanor is convenient to the ferry pier, waterfront, shopping etc. Yes, our room had a window opening into an airshaft, but at least there was no street noise. Within a block are several supermarkets, fast food and other restaurants, and you are two blocks from the waterfront promenade. The staff was friendly and courteous. Would stay there again.

The room i stayed in was a single room. One disadvantage of the room is that it had no real window so no view of the city. Its dark. Lighting is not good. Bathroom is average. Kinna outdated for my taste. The water supply or pressure is low. The only advantage of the hotel is that its really strategically located...

Not sure if some of the comments to this hotel are comical or hysterical, it's really a decent hotel with nothing major to complain about. They do have some rooms with a window, so if this is important, ask for it and look at the room first rather than writing bitter reviews later. It's very clean and central, with an...
