Had dessert at the restaurant at Arabian Nights hotel. The coffee, tea, and desert were average. Asked for pancakes with chocolate sauce. Got 3 plain crepes and a bottle of hershey chocolate sauce on the side. Asked for black coffee.. Got a pot of hot water and a sachet of instant coffee. Disappointed.

Nicely located at one of the best beaches of the Island. Beach has become very popular with kite-surfers, but you can also make long beachwalks. We have come here before. Still quite OK. Good breakfast, good dinner but slow service. Friendly staff. Wi-Fi only in Lobby and restaurant. Best rooms are the seaview suite rooms, but one has to book...

The last day when we counted the money in the locked safe we realized some money are missing (at least $300, not sure how many Zanzibar's schillings). Unfortunately I was stung by stingray in the last day so I didn't have a mood to argue with them so I reported it when I get back home and the pain relieved....

We requested a beach front room but you have to do so months in advance since the rooms go very fast (we booked in June for a December trip). The water in Paje is BEAUTIFUL and we had dinner on the beach on several occasions. The hotel is very affordable and good for people on a budget. When driving to...

We stayed three nights at this hotel in one of their "suites" The place is clean and alright. Aircon, decent bed, pool and at the beach. Im guessin it has been around for a while and its not beeing maintained to well. Small details like instant coffe for breakfast and unattentive staff does not help. Ocean restaurant is its closest...

This hotel is situated right on the beach and is one of the best properties in Paje. The staff is the most friendliest and helpful. The restaurant is quite good as well! Breakfast is included in the price and consists of a plate of fresh fruit and eggs made to oder . Just one thing, they do not accept credit...

Pros. Swimming pool is big and deep enough for actual swimming, VERY polite and helpful staff, spacious rooms with proper air conditioning (A/C is extremely crucial thing when it's nearly +40 outside with 100% humidity!), great location within walking distance to mini-markets, liquor store, motorbike/car rent centers, and countless beach restaurants. Cons. Breakfasts were quite poor, though as far as...

As a kitesurfer, the only thing I liked about this hotel was the location. It's right on the beach in the middle of a great kiting spot. That being said, the rest of the hotel experience was very disappointing, a far cry from the hotels our friends were staying at during the same trip. We read the dodgy reviews, and...

I am a kitesurfer and had heard about Paje as one of the best spots in the world, it is, the lagoon is great for beginners, intermediate and advanced riders. Now I can also say that Arabian Nights is the best hotel in Paje for kitesurfers because of its location, location, location but also because of the quality and cleanliness...
