This resort is just fantastic. A part of the Wyndham Time Share Group but so different to anything we have experienced before. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly and courteous staff.
Resupplies of essentials like tea, coffee, toilet paper, washing powder and free tokens for washing machines and dryers were readily provided without question or charge.
Rooms were spacious and nicely furnished with a very comfortable king bed.
On site bar and “restaurant” were very convenient however perhaps a wider choice of meals could be considered. Buffet breakfast were more than ample with a cheap upgrade option for a hot breakfast.
We thoroughly enjoy our weeks stay here. Thank you.

Nice resort with large comfortable rooms and enough to keep you entertained on site. We made use of the bar, gym and jacuzzi during our stay, all of which definitely helped to add to the relaxing holiday experience! The resort is located part way between the town and Roy's Peak, in a nice peaceful spot.
Only things keeping it from 5 star were the bathrooms could do with some modernising and the fact our room was missed from being cleaned during our stay. We mentioned the latter to the reception on the afternoon who's response was initially only that the cleaning staff had left for the day. The gentleman at the front desk was more apologetic and dropped by to provide us with fresh towels and empty the trash which was helpful, as well as a free chocolate bar which somehow survived its way back to the UK! Mistakes happen and we can fully understand the room being missed however the initial lack of regard was a bit frustrating.

This is the perfect home away from home in Wanaka! We came off of two days backpacking in Mt Aspiring National Park and were looking for a place to spread out, do some laundry, and enjoy a comfortable bed. Karthik and the whole team at the Ramada made us feel right at home. We got an apartment style room, complete with kitchen, living room, and private garden for cheaper than the price of a room at most other places in Wanaka. Laundry is cheap and easy, the pool is lovely, and happy hour is a deal. Congrats to the team here for running a great spot!

Great suite with large open plan dining, kitchen, lounge area (65sqm), 4 separate bedrooms, 2x Super King size beds in 2x rooms, 2x king single size beds in each other rooms, both large rooms have separate shower and spa bath with TV, has own dryer and wash machine, great living area with a lot of space, has its own bar area with sink, spa pool on deck with outdoor table for dining, also smoking area next to spa pool, has a couple of day loungers when warmer. We had complimentary use if E-Bike and mountain bikes, also free WIFI and movies. Would highly recommend staying in this unit, close to town centre.

Dear Tai C Thank you for taking the time to write about our 4 bedroom presidential suite. It is a fabulous apartment and sounds like you enjoyed your time there. The stroll along the lake to town is wonderful too, especially with the autumn colours at the moment. We hope to welcome you back again sometime. Kind regards Rachel

We stayed two nights in a modern, recently decorated two bedroom apartment with a comfortable, casual style, and a small balcony with four chairs perfect for an outdoor pre-dinner drink. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. There is a laundry room with modern appliances and free wash powder, and a drying room for ski gear. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our overall experience was excellent+ and great value, and we will stay there when in Wanaka for skiing next year.

We stayed for a week recently. We were in a studio room. It was clean and well presented when we got there. In the week we stayed our room was not serviced at all. We had a microwave in our room and a very small bench to make tea, coffee etc. However there was no sink to do the dishes in. There was a bucket in our room for this but the only way to fill it was to climb into the bath around the shower shield and fill it from that tap, then do the dishes on the table. I would suggest that it is a very dangerous setup. Our towels were only changed when we went to reception to ask for clean ones. The location was great but I won't be going back.

We are Wyndham club owners and are at platinum.
The resort is nice with all the basic amenities it should have for a resort. However the location is out of the city, hence need to walk or need a transport which is not good. No lake view!
We were asked to attend the Wyndham member presentation of 45 min of our time in return of a French breakfast and 75$ voucher of new world. But we got just two coffees and after 1:45min presentation they gave us 50$ new world voucher. Not after the breakfast or money, being a platinum, but deceitful behaviour for me is a no-no.

we stayed here for two nights Jan 2021 and absolutely loved our time here. 1. It was very friendly. 2. Our upstairs room with it's high pitched roof was very spacious. 3. It had big trees outside the front and felt un 'boxed in' . 4. It was set up with cutlery, crockery , microwave if you just wanted to eat at home. 5. Had a spa pool ( and swimming pool.. but we just used the spa. ) also beds were very comfortable. This resort is about a 15 minute walk. 4 minute drive from the town centre driving west along the lake.

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment & it came with all that you would need for a 4 day stay. Though there wasn't housekeeping due to manpower crunch, ample towels were provided from the start. The lights for the dining & living area were a bit dim. Good to have a regulation that all gatherings at the balcony must cease by 9pm so guests in neighbouring unit can rest. The unit next to ours were dining & drinking all evening & we had to call the reception at 10pm for assistance. The hotel had pool facilities which ate suitable for families with young children. We didn't have young kids but I saw many enjoying the water slide. The marketing person tried to interest us with Club Wyndham membership by participating in a 1.5 hour talk when we checked in, in exchange for a $100 dining voucher; or something like that. Many luxury hotels like Shangri-la, Grand Hyatt, Marina Bay Sands already offer membership by the click of the fingers and require no attendance for talks. Perhaps Clun Wyndham should look into that.

We stay here often, always a great standard and staff service. Clean and well presented, warm in Winter. Staff were very helpful on check in and help with an upgrade, Entering our room with heating already on and warm and cosy was much appreciated. We will be back.
