Enjoyed our visit. Trisha and Davey are so accommodating and a wealth of knowledge of surrounding area and restaurants. The homemade breakfast goodies are delicious. Would definitely go back The place is very clean with a peaceful setting

We stayed in the Garden Studio and had a fantastic time. Trish and Davy (the hosts) were welcoming, informative and kind. They provided beautiful fresh muffins and organic muesli everyday along with other delicious treats! The room itself was perfect and cosy - by far the cleanest accommodation we have stayed in while in NZ!!!! The view from our room...

We arrived on a sunny afternoon and decided to get dinner in, instead of going out because the garden was so gorgeous. Beautiful flowers with an stunning view of the glacier through the hills. Trish was very informative, recommendations of where to eat and which walks in the area were best. Breakfast was continental rather than cooked. But there were...

My husband, daughter and I stayed here for two nights. It was the perfect size for us. It had a lovely view of pastures and the amazing mountain range. Trish provided perfect breakfast items, including homemade muffins, muesli and jams. The kitchen was well stocked and we used the grill once. Trish also allowed me to use the washing machine...

The rooms were spotless with all we needed provided. Trish was very helpful with her local knowledge of the district including walks and local restaurants which we used. We have no hesitation in...

This was definitely one of the best B&B's we have stayed in during our NZ trip in 2016. The hosts are very nice. He is in the tourism business, and she is running the place. We had a wonderful conversation with her, and she even sent us recipies for her delicious tasting muffins. They have a small dog which is...

Trish & Davy own a beautiful B&B on the edge of Wanaka, well away from the lakeside hustle & bustle. They are very welcoming hosts and provided a fine DIY breakfast service in the excellently appointed room. It opens onto a lovely garden, blooming lovely with spring flowers, ideal for al fresco breakfast. Only a 2 minute drive from the...

We were especially impressed with the baking and breakfast spread that Trish provided each morning. The room was perfect with many extras and attention to detail. We went on a great fishing trip...

If you like to be away from the crowd, Avalanche B&B is in a quiet residental neigborhood and would be a good choice. It is only 5-10 minutes from city center and a nice easy walk to trail that goes along the lake. You can walk to Wanaka if you like. We stayed in the self-contained ensuite that had absolutely...
