We had a two night stay here in Feb 2011. We were made to feel so welcome by Jo and Ian from the moment we arrived (tea and muffins both days we were there). It was our first experience of a homestay (as opposed to a B&B) and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfasts were excellent (pancakes as mentioned by othersare... More

Jo & Ian Harper run a lovely, homey B&B in a convenient location in Wanaka. Our room was large and comfortable with a great view of the harbor. Jo offered us tea and homemade muffins on our arrival and her breakfasts were excellent. Without our asking, she made a reservation for a jet boat trip which we both enjoyed immensely.... More

Jo and Ian really made us feel home away from home. We had a wonderful room with a lot of space and a marvellous view on Lake Wanaka. The hosts were just wonderful company, we had a lot of very nice conversations with them, yummy breakfasts and they helped us with the planning of the continuation of our trip. We... More

A great welcome with tea, home made muffins and lots of advice from Jo and Ian. The B&B is well located close to the centre of Wanaka. Our room had a wonderful view over the lake and a good breakfast to set us on our way

If you are looking for a place to relax, enjoy lovely views and feel very full after a hearty breakfast, this is the place to stay. I would definitely recommend this B&B to others! Jo and Ian will make you feel very welcome. Just make sure you plan a few walking trips after the big breakfast which includes fantastic pancakes!

We stayed with Jo and Ian for a few nights in early November as we explored Wanaka. Jo and Ian were extremely welcoming upon our arrival and continued to offer their hospitality and help throughout our stay. They were knowledgable about the attractions in town and were helpful with making booking arrangements. We enjoyed a very private room on the... More

Thank you for taking the time to post a positive review. It was a pity that there was a misunderstanding about the booking of activities. However that was resolved without too much difficulty. It does state clearly on our reservations page on our website that we will book indicated activities on your behalf. These are always weather dependent of course. More

Booking via the instant confirmation system was very smooth. The location of the B&B is a 4min drive away from the main part of town - this is not a problem as Wanaka is pretty relaxed and parking is easy to find on the lake front. Jo and Ian were amazing hosts, sharing travel tips (they've done a fair amount... More

Great place for solo travelers and couples. Run by friendly owners who have extensive local knowledge. Room and bathroom well set up, furnishings clean and comfortable without being overly formal. Plenty of conversation and great breakfast.
