At Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa, guests are charmed by its serene ambiance and cultural allure, though some suggest it's ripe for refurbishment. The resort is celebrated for its prime location and impressive cleanliness, with travelers enjoying spacious rooms with striking views. Service quality, however, varies; while the staff is often commended for their friendliness, issues with slow service and disorganization are not uncommon.
Noise can be intrusive in certain areas, and while the amenities are generally appreciated, some guests find them outdated. Additionally, there's a sentiment that the resort's pricing doesn't quite match the value offered.

We stayed for 8 days in a beachfront, 1 bedroom unit with laundry. The room was well equiped and comfortable with good aircon and fans. The bed was comfortable and it had everything we needed. The layout of the rooms meant we got a bit of noise at night time from people passing, but that was a small issue. As others have mentioned, the rooms have some wear and tear but nothing significant that affected our experience. The swimming pools were great, and even when the resort was full, it didn’t feel crowded and there were plenty of loungers. There is good free wifi throughout the resort, including in your rooms and by the pools etc. In general, communication with guests could be improved eg we lost water for a few hours and it was hard to find out why and what was happening,
We tried all the onsite restaurants- Nuku- we went once for breakfast (we had breakfast included in our stay). It was a bit of a scrum of families so after that we went to Koro each morning as this was adults only and a more serene experience. Saying that, we had a very enjoyable dinner at Nuku and loved the happy hour watching the sunset on the deck.
Koro- as mentioned, breakfast there was a pleasant experience if in a group with no children. We dined there one night, it was nice but a little underwhelming.
Maravu- top notch, stunning Asian food. A really wonderful place to eat, with a nice vibe and great service. Highly recommended.
The deli- great for small snacks (great custard doughnuts). We had pizza from there one night. It didn’t look quite as we expected but the flavours were really good.
All the staff were wonderful, so friendly and engaging, it is them that make this resort so endearing and brings so much character. Yes, things like housekeeping can be a bit variable, but everyone staff member you speak to tries their best to help. We rang asking for some extra facecloths one day, we had 4 different staff members appearing during the course of the day bringing us face cloths (as well as an assortment of other room items). It may not be what you expect from other Hiltons across the world, but this is the character that Fiji brings.
We had a truly wonderful stay. Vinaka!

We stayed for a week with our 8-month-old son in a guest room with separate lounge (room 112). Highly recommend this room if you are travelling with an infant, having his portacot in the bedroom meant we could hang out in the lounge or on the terrace during naps and after bedtime. The kitchenette and laundry were also welcome amenities for bottle prep and washing. The room was about 30 steps from the main pool and Nuku where we enjoyed breakfast every day. Koro and Maravu are also nice dinner options and are open early for a pre-bedtime meal. Staff across the resort were so kind and attentive. Our only downsides were the prices are quite high across the various restaurants and that wifi is not free in your room (it is free at the restaurants/pool/lobby which we could sometimes reach on our terrace). However this is not a reflection on the wonderful local staff and more a comment on Hilton’s corporate policies.

We can’t rate our holiday here high enough this property is 2.8 klms long with stunning beach front views three restaurants and two large pools area one for families and one is adults only.
The food is high quality particularly the Pan Asian whose menu makes my mouth water and my taste buds sing 🎶.
There is also a delicious deli contestant on site serving freshly ground coffee of your choice fresh bread bbq packs to cook on the complimentary BBQ which they set up on the balcony of your room.
The location is cl out at to Port Denarau with its multiple choices of restaurants and day cruisers departing there .
A supermarket which sells everything including reasonably priced Australian wine and local beer 🍺 is also at Denarau which you can get to by taking a easy walk, Bula bus or taxi 🚕 at a reasonable price.
All of this does not compare to the warmth generosity and thoughtfulness of the staff and the Fijian people as a whole.
If you a picky type please let that at home for you may not get the coffee exactly the way you like it the first time however just be patient and explain what you want and they will make sure you get it as required.
We only wanted to hang out and relax so 6 full days here has filled the bill beautifully we both haven’t mentioned work once.
Finally a big shout out to our room attendant Louisa who was exceptional and made our room a paradise every day Vanuka to everyone at the Hilton Denarau.

Since Bonvoy is inundated with a majority of frequent travelers, I have come to appreciate Hilton as the secondary preference with generally less traffic and usually cleaner with good restaurants. With that level of expectation, this hotel is dated although the stellar customer service more than made up for it. When we arrived in the room, the hot water did not work so we waited for maintenance who promptly addressed the issue (he also refused my tip). The following day there was a power outage which caused our AC to automatically turn off - since I was not familiar with the panel we called for maintenance who again addressed the issue (note for others Red light means the AC is on)! The shower head was hand held and the way it was angled sent the jet to aim directly towards the shower door so after every shower the outside floor was wet. We considered this a minor issue and just dealt with it throughout our stay.
Now on to the amenities! Nuku - If you want a colonic cleanser first thing in the morning, I recommend drinking their ginger elixir. The croissants were weirdly addictive that I couldn't just eat one. Also had dinner one Saturday where they had a show at 7pm, I would plan around attending that. Maravu - Delicious food! Koro - Lunch was okay, I've had better fish and chips but the ambiance was great! Kudos to their staff! Although they did not open for another 30 minutes and we were willing to wait for them while they prepped, they approached us anyways and were super friendly! Spa - We had the spa signature and the Sabai Foot Journey. Spa signature was great but the foot massage - I was hoping that they would press into your feet with reflexology. They ended up rolling rocks/stones on my feet the entire time which provided the same therapeutic relief similar to when I was walking around south sea island beach the day before.
Overall the top notch customer service elevated the entire experience.

This was a really disappointing and frustrating stay. The service and food in every restaurant was extremely poor and below a reasonable, acceptable standard. I would say 3 stars but paying for a 5 star hotel.
This was my 3rd return to the Hilton after a long time and it’s really worse than before. I’ve stayed at many of the Denarau resorts and I can safely say I will never return to this hotel ever again.
Wait times in every restaurant, including room service were beyond reasonable, exceeding 1 hour for simple meals off menu (kids mini sliders) - breakfast eggs, a stir fry dish and 3 entree dishes. The one cocktail I ordered was heavily mixed and undrinkable. Safer to order wine. More importantly, the food is dreadful, it lacks subtlety, heavy handed, heavily fried, seafood always curried (such a shame) and food to the room soggy and cold. Eating became a chore and the deli became my go-to as i could see what i was getting and walk away with it or eat on site in a reasonable time frame.
Noisy gardening with leaf blowers first thing in the morning and intrusive house keeping routines that make sleeping in impossible. There are no room signs offered - “no disturb” signs to fend off housekeeping either.
The phone through to the restaurant, concierge and housekeeping often didn’t work due to over load. This was frustrating. Hotel was not at full occupancy.
Check your bill carefully, i had 4 versions printed until it was accurate.
The conference stayers destroyed the peace and partied noisily in rooms until 3.30am and I had to knock on the door opposite us to tell them to shut the noise down.
There is nothing pleasant or rewarding having to wrangle logistics on your family holiday. Just stay away from this hotel it does not reflect what Hilton hotels have built their brand on globally. There is abundant choice on Denarau and on the Coral Coast, the intercontinental is superb.
Just vote with your feet here and don’t ruin your hard earned holiday by staying here.

We spent two nights in a deluxe room with a beachfront view. The room is very complete as it offers all the services of an apartment, from the dishwasher to the dryer, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. We had an open balcony. Unfortunately, there was no private pool, only a shared pool with other guests. The rooms are not well isolated and are close to each other. The view overlooks the port of Denarau, which is not the most beautiful beach in the Fiji Islands. Compared to the price we paid, we preferred our stay at the Intercontinental, which was more private and had a more pleasant view and beach. The highlight of our stay at the Hilton was the 3-hour jet ski ride with Peyssa and Georges from Hydrosport, a refreshing moment with two very kind and funny young men. We recommend this experience to all travelers if you love jetski.

The Hilton Fiji welcome was fantastic, when we got into our room we were greeted with towel art on our bed and a "Happy Anniversary" written using plant fronds, there was also a decorated plate with cake and card. The air conditioned accomodation with ceiling fan was quite comfy and adorned all we required (for 2 adults). (albiet was a little tired) King bed, super soft pillows (Mrs didn't like), TV, DVD (I found the DVD remote didn't work so had limited control via stop/play buttons on player), bar fridge and the usual tea/coffee/milk/water/bathroom supplies and a safe. (Tip - take extra hangers for your wardrobe, and maybe a washing line if you need to dry clothes). Our patio had a day bed and a chair, foot stool and small coffee table that were quite comfy/useful. There are many pools for the kids or to relax and cool down in/around but we preferred walking out of our beachfront room and relaxing on the grassed area in front of the calm beach. The hotel boasts 3 restaurants, Nuku was most popular open all day with great staff and food and beverage offerings (we had our daily breakfast and occasional dinner here). Koro also open all day for adults only with tapas type food offerings (only did arvo drinks and dinner here, we found the service slow) (the big kids can get a bit noisy around the pool) Maravu open for dinner only with excellent service and food and beverage offerings (we had the occasional dinner here). Our dinners ran at $150-200FJD including cocktails and drinks at all these restaurants. The resort has a gym, massage options, trinket shops FYI. The Hotel runs the internal Bula Bus service but we walked everywhere as nothing in the resort is very far. There is a local Denarau Bula Bus service ($10 day p/p) hop on/off to most places around Denarau but we only went to the marina a few times (shop/eat) walked (about 15-20 mins e/w) and used taxi ($8+tip e/w) other times. Denarau area offers many alternative restaurants/facilities should you want to venture out of the resort. Check out was quick and smooth with the concierge phoning our room the day prior and again the morning of our departure to arrange our transfer with baggage to reception and also assisted with getting a taxi to the airport ($52FJD+tip) (FYI, cost $35+tip from airport to hotel) Overall we had a great experience at the Denarau Hilton

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Hilton Denarau. Our room was spotless, and the beds were comfortable. Dining options are varied so we tried them all and all of them hit the mark. Breakfast buffet was amazing, so much choice, and a great way to start the day. It's a long resort along the beach front, which was great because we had our room at one end (sort of adults only) with adults only pool area. There is a wee bus to hop and off to get you around the resort if you don't fancy walking because the restaurants etc. All of the staff without exception were super friendly and helpful. Check out is 11am but we could leave our luggage in the left luggage area and carry on enjoying the facilities until it was time to catch our flight.

We were placed in this hotel by the tour group we booked through so we didn't actually choose to stay here. Had I chosen I would have been very disappointed. We've never stayed at a Hilton before and won't after staying here. We weren't aware that $200 per day is placed on credit card to cover expenses. Luckily we were only there 2 nights but if you were staying longer it could be a problem for some. Also, the funds can take up to 14 days to be released back which I do think is acceptable by today's standards. The cost of food within the resort was very expensive ie $45 for a hamburger and $10 room service fee. There are 2 restaurants and a "cheaper" cafe for pizzas etc but still expensive. Wifi is only free in public areas and if you want it in your room you have to pay. Given that this isn't a cheap hotel it should be included everywhere. Our room only had 1 bath towel and no soap in the dispensers. It took over an hour to get that sorted. Our room never got cleaned even though we had left at 8 am and didn't return till around 14.30. when we asked about it they still didn't come for at least another 45 minutes so we just got cleaned towels and told them not to worry about it. Our room did have a nice outlook over the pools but that was probably the only thing that was positive. Definitely would stay elsewhere next time.

Ni Sa Bula Vinaka Colmich, Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay. We genuinely appreciate your input, as it helps us identify areas for improvement. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the credit card hold and the extended release time. We understand how this can be frustrating, especially during a short stay. We are continuously reviewing our policies to ensure they align with the expectations of our guests and we have certainly highlighted this with the relevant Managers. In-regards the food prices, we strive to offer a range of dining options, and we are sorry to learn that you found the prices to be on the higher side. We are committed to providing quality meals and experiences and will take your feedback into consideration. We also understand your concerns regarding the Wi-Fi accessibility and are actively working to enhance connectivity options throughout the property. Your experience regarding the lack of bath towels and delays in room service is unacceptable, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We will certainly address the issues with our housekeeping team to ensure better communication and service in the future. It is disheartening to read that we fell short of your expectations, especially as a first-time Hilton guest. We hope you might consider giving us another chance in the future, as we are committed to providing a better experience. If you have any further concerns or if you would like to discuss your stay in more detail, please feel free to reach out to us directly on NANHI_Reservations@hilton.com. Thank you once again for your valuable feedback. Vinaka And Kind Regards, Virginia Mow

Hilton did not live up to his name or standard we expected. The reception area is very clinical and understated and the welcome to the resort is nonexistent We wasted our first day waiting to be moved rooms because there was a very strong sewerage smell. Our 3rd room was finally a very nice upgrade without a smell. Out of 9 days not once were there towels available at the pool when initially requested- they had always ‘just run out’. Housekeeping was slack. Sometimes it would be 6pm before our room was cleaned and without a doubt we had to call the front desk for something everyday they had forgotten, whether it be fresh towels, soap etc and the call would have to be followed up at least once before anyone came. The breakfast was great- definitely a highlight. The gym is extremely basic with very dated cardio machines and little equipment. The main pool was great but needed to be cleaned more frequently as there was often scum collecting at the corners. Overall disappointing would be the word to describe the Hilton. We expected it to live up to its name but it just felt very mid level. The atmosphere is very stale compared to the other resorts and the grounds are dying in comparison. We understand there’s ‘Fiji time’ but waiting 80 minutes for some calamari for lunch is a little ridiculous- especially when they weren’t busy at all. Fair to say we won’t be going back to the Hilton in Fiji

Hi we were there a couple of weeks ago. At the Koru restaurant I think it was FJ$50 for the buffet, but you could order al la cart, the eggs benedict was about FJ$26 There is also a deli where you can buy pastries and even pizza for breakfast.
Hope this helps

No resort fee but a deposit of $200 FJD per night is placed on your card at check-in. I was solo travelling and spent nowhere near that even including drinks, dinners and massages (I had breakfast included) and the balance is being returned to me.
There are more places to choose from in the Denarau Island area.
