Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

7 nights staying at the Hilton Hotel. Warm Welcomes from Conceige/Seru, and in her absence Salome took good care of us, helping me with our changes to our transport with Tewaka on our return to airport. Huge thank you Entrance Doorman/ Epirama who you herd him call out "the bula bus. Porter/Raymond we give thanx for your quick service in sorting out are room and drop off too our rooms. Thanx to your other staff Tevita, John. Housekeeping staff very friendly, sorry I totally forgot your names, thumbs up too you all, my mum loved the Swan made from the bath towels that are left on the made beds, also the flowers left around nice touches from the outdoor to the indoor. Dinning experience a 5 star to Nuku staff, Laisa /Coolio/Zac/Mele. friendly service your Team always smiling. Maravu Restaurant the Asian meal experience went down very nice, atmosphere and staff awesome 5 star for venue. Koro Restaurant is a only adult venue, that needs to change, it would be nice if they alternate days when families can dine there with kids, but I understand adults need to unwhine without kids ..lol. Poolside Activities for my child, he enjoyed as he went swimming everyday and we ate at the famous Nuku Restaurant,a few room service as well....lol Walk out from the HH Lobby, go around the corner to the bus stand, catch the Yellow Bus/Westbus logo on bus ($1.61 FJD). This bus will take you to the City. Fruit market on Saturday. People are friendly, will stay again at the HH. Kia Orana e Kia Manuia from the Temaeva-Hunt Family.. Bula Vinaka

The room accommodations at this hotel are very luxurious from master bath suite, great living room furniture, great patio furniture, private Bbq on the deck and galley kitchen. The staff were always helpful and delightful especially Mika at the front desk! The pool has very nice space and very comfy chairs!

Nice facility, but the staff failed to communicate and deliver satisfactory service. 2 incident so far, day 2 out of 4. 1. Unable to communicate right information-Booked a spa at 3:30pm at front desk in the morning. At 3:20pm, asked the staff on the app, and street, where the location is. Apparently there are 2 spa locations, one near main pool and the other one at adult pool. Was told “ok” to do at the main pool. Wrong. Time wasted 2. Got beach dinner for upgrade for FJD299 for 2, normally FJD195 pp. Have to book at front desk. Checked that we can have the promotion rate and booked in the morning. The staff instructed us to sign the booking form (states FJD195 pp). We checked with the staff and confirm the promotion rate applies. End of dinner FJD195 pp, argued, but showed me the signed form. Not coming here to do a legal battle. Not an issue with money but rather principle. 3 stars award to the facility. Staff are sloppy and don’t know what they are doing, and not sure if they are serious about their job. Not recommend for semi picky customers

Recently had a last minute one night stay as my plane was delayed and my existing resort was fully booked. I choose the Hilton to enjoy one final unexpected night of luxury. The good: beautiful view of the ocean, very comfy bed, nice food delivered to my door; very large space complete with kitchen, full size fridge and equipped laundry. Could have been better: check in was poor (I was given no information about my room, check out time, etc); check out was frustrating; the room was very dark and not all light bulbs were working; only 1 TV channel seemed to work (but that could have been user error); tap to the bath fell off into the bath; toilet didn’t seem to flush properly; service was mostly average; Hilton price for a dated room.

Really nice stay but a couple of shortcomings. The room was fantastic - massive bed, full living room, and spacious bathroom. A few small touches weren't what they could be due to persistent moisture. Getting around was pretty easy - hilton is spread out as a strip where we notice some other hotels seem a bit more clustered. They have a buggy that runs every 10-15mins but a quick walk should get you wherever you want to get in about as long. No risk of getting lost either! We went in a wet week and the paths could get a bit puddly and the lawns were sodden, which could smell a bit at times. We enjoyed the hospitality on site and found it a good base

Beautiful accommodation in magnificent surroundings. Staff were all so welcoming and cheerful. Millie went above and beyond to make our dining experiences enjoyable. The swimming pool areas were spotless and the chairs and umbrellas were plentiful. The breakfast buffets were absolutely delicious. Special shout out to Millie Theresa, John, Wise, Waqa, Abraham, Mika in the spa and cannot leave out Moli’s taxi.

Only stayed for two nights after returning from outlying islands. The room was quite nice with a separate bedroom for our two sons to share. Each bedroom had an ensuite toilet and shower. Washing machine, dryer also in the master ensuite. Quite spacious with full kitchenette. The price per night off-season was still $1175 NZD but this did include breakfast. I wouldn't say it was OTT expensive, but just thought for what it was perhaps $850 - 900 more reasonable. Staff were extremely helpful in organising taxis for us etc. We did not eat dinner or lunch at any of the restaurants, we find resort dining is way overpriced. If you want fresh lobster it is half price at the local restaurants 500m away, than it is at the Hilton. Would be a great place if there was a large group of people meeting for a few days for an event. Great pool and bar area, but unfortunately we had 48 hours of rain and strong winds.

I booked for three people they gave me a room with king size bed cannot sleep three I went back to the reception. Explain the problem they tell me we will separate the bed but by doing that will have to single bed. It doesn’t sleep three OK OK she said we will change the room just go stay in this room for a while we will call you, two hours later nobody call me back to receptionist I ask what happened they tell me what’s the problem I have to tell them my story again I called the manager and give me another girl to serve. Finally, she said I will give you upgrade home suite but you have to pay 500 more I said that’s not what I booked then she told me OK will give you another room after we got the key we went to check the room and guess what one room was one king bed again it is very hot very muggy We are sweating like a pig frustrated finally I suggested to put another single bed in the original room. A lot of discussion she agreed, but after I had it. And she was very rude and tell me you’re supposed to check at 3 o’clock and we need to check in early just like she knew me a favor and she tell me shut the hell up not nice at all all of them very slow. It takes us about 45 minutes to check in, so was everybody very slow Look at the picture of the reception they made of painted plywood very sleazy

We lucked out with weather!! Staff is what makes this resort shine. Our housekeepers were the best of the best! Power and water went out during our stay. The resort apologized via a resort credit. It was a nice gesture, but should’ve been more generous in my opinion. Just a heads up; there are no areas with air con outside of hotel rooms. I would give a 5 star bc the location and shells on the beach. We ate at the Thai restaurant one evening and it was delicious. The open air location on the beach was very hot around 84F. But the lack of communication with power and no communal aircon in dropping to 4.
