We had a day guest period here. We checked out all 3 pools, the beach, shops and restaurants. I love the zero entry pool that’s right next to the beach. Great atmosphere and staff. I’d definitely come back.
I’m only rating their swimming pools and pool bar and restaurant as we didn’t stay here, only used facilities daily for a week long stay. Their infinity pool is insanely beautiful looking into the ocean. Always so clean. The swim up bar is great and convenient. The Wet Edge restaurant has great food, very fresh and reasonable priced. Highly recommend:)
We recently spent a week in this resort January 3rd - 10th 2020. When we booked (Nov 2019) it was getting solid 4 star reviews. As it neared we noticed 1&2 star ratings flooding the site. We panicked but there was simply no need, here’s the scoop! The Sheraton Fiji Resort is an older hotel, 35 years old with areas updated as time has gone along. With this in mind as you can imagine, it is ‘tired’ and was to be completely overhauled. Some of background construction started happening at the end of December getting ready for the big shut down in January. This is what seemed to cause some of the lower ratings from some of the guests. However, we can honestly state that regardless of the age of the physical building, everywhere we went was kept immaculately clean. And the entrance was nicer and classier than any of the other hotels on that stretch... especially the Hilton! It was so impressive after a day at the beach when we had tracked sand in (even though we tried our best not to) that not one grain was found in our room after the housekeeper had been by the following morning. They left our room cleaner than any hotel we have ever stayed in anywhere! The staff were not only extremely hardworking, they were super friendly and always greeted us with a ‘Bula’ every time we passed. They were charming and went out of their way to make sure we had the best vacation and stay possible. They were generous beyond anything we have previously experienced and I can’t imagine ever being treated so well again. We are so grateful to all of them and feel that as soon as the building is remodeled, it will be a solid 5 stars across the board again. Thank you to the staff and management for really making this such a special vacation for us.…
Stayed here recently for two nights with my wife and baby girl. We were meant to be here for four nights but unfortunately a cyclone prevented us from arriving for a few days. We were disappointed as we were looking forward to going out to MalaMala for the day but not much you can do about naturally occurring things like that. Because our flight had to be rescheduled we had to get an overnight flight, I would like to thank the Sheraton for not only giving us an early check in but also an upgrade to a beach front room. This really helped a disorientated and tired baby settle in. The facilities and food are great, and there's a lot to do around Denarau which is really a good spot for families. Hopefully next time we can stay for longer.
I’ve stayed with my 3 teenagers children and it was good. The room was comfortable, medium size.. beds were good. The pool was great but finding a seat around the pool was a hassle most of the times as there are not enough chairs, they should provide a bit more of them. Also the food was good but a bit overpriced.... I would like to recommend Sheraton to organize more teenagers activities as its not much to do, just couple pool, tennis tables and board games.... I think they should offer a bit more for not only little kids that they do have kids club. Service was fantastic, all personnel was very kind. I would stay again and it is a good hotel to stay in. A bit more improvement and it will represent a 5 stars hotel easily.
