Really enjoyed our stay at Las Casitas. The property was unbelievably beautiful and our room was very nice. Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. You cannot beat the access you get to Palomino Island. They run two ferries all day and the wait time is very short. I did not give the property five stars because of a few issues....

Great hotels sometimes offer private enclaves of luxurious privacy and Las Casitas does just that, while allowing all the benefits of the adjacent Waldorf Astoria Resort. The elegance is understated by the real luxury rests in the privacy and the grand setting, the pool and jacuzzi where even in the cold of a northern winter one can enjoy the cool...

Amazing views, highly recommend ocean view. We had a 2 bedroom, 3 bath villa that was super spacious. More than enough room. Love the kitchen for breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the water. The Casita area is was quieter than the main hotel which I enjoyed with my family. The infinity pool was stunning with the backdrop of the water....

This is a beautiful location and there is a lot to do for adults and children alike. It was a comfortable stay and we enjoyed our stay and our excursions but for the money we paid and my past experiences at other Waldrof properties, I felt that the value was not there.

Highly recommend this wonderful resort. This is a perfect place for families. The multitude of swimming pools and the various food options was a plus. The service was outstanding. I would absolutely recommend doing the rainforest excursion. We will definitely be returning to this great resort.

It's essentially a Hampton Inn with an incredible view. But an old Hampton Inn. With service that matches. Every piece of metal inside out casita was rusted including the shower bar. The breakfast buffet was painfully slow.

The resort is amazing the pros is that it's next to Caribbean. Palomino private island is amazing clear water paradise. The cons is that because it's on a cliff there's a lot of stairs which is tiring a bit but is absolutely beautiful there. Highly recommend theCasitas Village they offer free parking if you drive there.

The room was dirty. The bed was uncomfortable and when I asked the concierge to change it she said she couldn't. ATM shorted me. Horrible experience. I have been to the El Conquistador many times in the past. What a shame it truly WAS magnificent.

Joani Arroyo at the pool is fantastic. Very attentive server. Pool is beautiful. The Casitas are beautiful generally. The Conquistador is fantastic - multiple beautiful pools, your own private island (palomino), a stunning golf course, great dining both inside and outside the resort.

We booked a 1 bedroom suite and indicated on our concierge sheet that we would need the pullout couch for our two small children. When we arrived we were put in possibly the smallest one bedroom suite I have ever seen. You could not get out of the bedroom while the pullout couch was open. The room was also pretty...
