I booked a room during the slow period ("shoulder") and found the property nearly deserted upon arrival. Locating the property at night was difficult. The room was clean and basic. Enjoyed Mojitos at the bar, as well as, conversation with a very nice bartender. I...More
I spent a week at the Fajardo Inn in Puerto RIco from November 10th to November 17th 2012. The place is very quiet. If you want to do nothing and spend your days at the pool. That's the place. The place is very clean and...More
We stayed at the Fajardo Inn for 2 nights as a base camp from which to see El Yunque and hopefully go on a kayaking trip in the bio bay, Laguna Grande in Fajardo.

We stayed here just for a quick overnight after visiting the bio bay on Vieques. The room was clean and reasonable, the price moderate and everything , if not exceptional, was just fine. Breakfast on the property was also good and moderately priced.
Stayed for 5 nights after being in San Juan for a couple of days. Great location - close to the bio bay, snorkling tours, Luquillo Beach and rainforest. You definitely need a car to get around. The room was very nice and the staff is...More

The Fajardo has a parrot just outside the office that likes to start talking art 6 a.m. so I would ask for a room not too close to the office and restaurants but yes the main building is the best if you want too be close to everything. This past February we had a room on the pool side and we did not notice that it was noisy. This is because the pool close to the restaurants is more for adults - the pool for kids is down the hill and far enough away that you won't hear it. One of the things we liked about the upper pool is they don't play music through speakers. People can enjoy the natural sounds of birds and the breeze through the palm trees.
