The hotel itself was lovely with friendly reception staff & bar staff. Lovely surroundings & peaceful. Food was awful in the restaurant - fish was not cooked & pork was very chewy. Such a shame as it let the rest of the stay down. Definitely needs attention on the food side. Also no milk provided in room for coffee you have to purchase this outside the hotel or at the bar!!!!!…
Excellent and quick check in. Special mention to Christina. Very friendly, informative and helpful during our stay. Rooms are spacious with very good facilities. Breakfast very good, buffet style. The outside terrace area beside the pool is wonderful and perfect for lunch with both shaded and sunny areas. The lunch was excellent with good choices on the menu. The golf course is flat so a buggy is not necessary. It was in very good condition with excellent greens. It is not too long, however it is challenging with the greens well protected on most holes. We played three rounds over two days and never got bored as the layout is superb. If you a looking for a great course, friendly staff and nice hotel then I recommend this wonderful facility…
We all had a wonderful golf holiday,, the hotel ,,food,, staff,, surroundings,,golf course,,was excellent,, our weather was a big factor sunny and warm everyday,,with a very good lunch after our game.. This hotel is on our agenda for all of us again next March..Thank you
Stayed on a 5 day golf break last week. Nice rooms, friendly efficient staff. But have to say food needs attention. Charming ambient restaurant at night, but on 3 evenings the hot dishes from the buffet were just put out for long periods,no bain marie or means of keeping hot. Hot brekfast dishes like eggs bacon attempted to keep hot but eggs cold most days. The wines and beers were a very reasonable price and good quality, and the lunchs were good at extra cost. Past guests advised us that food has been very good before, but sadly the food on our visit here would not encourage us to stay again. I would b pleased to message any of the restaurant management team privately if that would be constructive.Otherwise golf course and hotel excellent.…
This was a very brief visit. We arrived late and the receptions was good. Loud music and a party with flashing lights was going on in the bar though we were told the bar was open for the public. Fortunately we couldn't hear the music in our room. The communal spaces are lovely here and I thought the bathrooms were great. The bedroom though were very dark. The doors on to the small terrace was small. All the furniture was dark and shabby. Ours had one drawer full of breadcrumbs and the drawer front was damaged. The mini bar cupboard was scuffed and old fashioned. There were two sachets of tea. That was it. No milk or coffee. We asked the room cleaners and were told it was management policy not to provide coffee. Odd in a land that lives on coffee. There are no USB points so bring your own charger. This is not somewhere to come if you need to do a spot of emailing or work. The light is poor and you would be in electric light all day.…
