This B&B is very clean, barefoot-clean :-) and in a perfect location. Right in the centre of town; as a single woman I felt safe walking home at night. Fabrizio is very helpful, and attentive to clients needs. I would stay here again without a doubt! Grazie Fabrizio.

My partner and I stayed in the Via Del Centro B&B for 2 nights in May, and really enjoyed our stay. Our host, Fabrizio, was really friendly and incredibly helpful. He gave us great recommendations of places to go, provided us with maps and helpful brochures for the island, and organised things for us (such as a day trip to the islands with a rented boat). The B&B itself is in a beautiful old building, which is decorated impeccably and kept lovely and clean. We stayed in Marsala room, which is upstairs and has a nice sky light in it and a private bathroom. It is also very well located, right in the old town and very close to all the nice bars and restaurants. Well recommend a stay!

We've stayed twice at Via del Centro and both experiences have been wonderful. The first time, in June of last year, we actually cancelled our flights and extended our stay. After our initial reservation about staying in a B&B (we thought we wanted a villa just the two of us) we found that staying here actually made our entire trip as we got so much local info from the hosts Fabrizio & Jess. They even gave us the best beaches to visit as per the direction of the wind. The actual place is immaculately clean, the beds are very comfortable, and its minutes from the main port and all the restaurants. We drove daily onto Caprera. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and affordable stay in the heart of La Maddalena - with two lovely hosts who will give you the inside low down.…

A very unpleasant and upsetting experience. We didn't get into the b& b until 10pm and were shouted at on the street by Fabrizio. He later apologized and offered us a free night which we appreciated. When we were about to leave the island three days later, his partner Jessica arrived at the ferry terminal. She threatened to prevent us leaving the island to catch our plane as she said she knew everyone and would report us to the police for leaving without paying. This was embarrassing and upsetting as she was shouting in Italian aswell as English and people were looking at us angrily and we are honest people. The behaviour of these two people spoilt what should have been a beautiful four day break for us. We strongly advise staying clear of B & B via del Centro despite its attractive description. We hope Fabrizio and Jessica are happy that they dishonestly extracted 90 euros from two nice people just wanting a romantic break!…
