We spend 1 night at this beautiful place where the owners will make you feel like home. Each of the 4 rooms is decorated with indigenous motives of panamanian tribes and there is a beautiful walking trail around the property. The breakfast is a gourmet breakfast with a new menu every day. We will come back to spend more time...

What else can be written that hasn't been? Heaven in the mountains! (Cielito = 'little heaven') is truly an amazing place! Their four large and very comfortable rooms, each named after, and decorated with the handiwork from, one of Panama's indigenous peoples open up to the grounds on the side of a cloud forest mountain. There are short trails and...

Quite simply an oasis. The hosts are helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable, even the dogs are a delight (Chihuahuas). They grow and process their own coffee too which is delicious. The rooms are spacious and quite, the best nights' sleep we had in Panama. We'd both recommend it and happily stay there again. I particularly enjoyed sitting watching the birds...

We stayed two nights at this charming b&b. We were made very welcome. The good sized room with a well equipped kitchenette had an enormous, comfortable bed and a generous bathroom with hot water. Had we wanted to, we could have used the common room along the verandah as a living room to watch films and cook and eat. The...

Everything about this comfy B&B is perfect! Surrounded by lush, tropical plants, little streams and meandering trails, you can either explore or just relax on the spacious porch and watch the abundant bird life. We stayed in the Casita, but got a peek at all the rooms, which were tastefully decorated with individual native styles. Beds are comfortable, kitchen well...

Whenever I am in Panama I try to spend at least a weekend here, out of the heat and humidity, among the flowers and hummingbirds of Panama. The grounds are beautifully tended, the natural setting maintained and beautiful trails marked for your strolling pleasure. There are a myriad of opportunities to just relax, meditate, or sip wine on the patio,...

Two years have passed since my last review of Cielito Sur, and I write now simply to report that it is still the same beautiful, serene place. After a superb breakfast -- all organic from their garden and chickens -- I wander the grounds, visit the new green house and vegetable plots, marvel at the Lee's inventiveness and green thumbs....

I stayed at Cielto Sur for one night in June and I am wishing I had more time to stay there again. Glen & Janet (the owners) have built something so perfect in Cerro Punta. Their B&B is somehow perfectly organized, homey and elegant all at the same time. One of my favorite things about Cielto Sur is that anything...

We live on the other side of Volcan Baru and have visited Volcan & Cerro Punta several times but never for an overnight stay. It was a great pleasure to relax, visit several great nearby restaurants and enjoy the beautiful landscape and birds of the Cielito Sur B&B.

Our second stay at Cielito Sur (3 nights) was just as amazing as the first. The grounds are still absolutely beautiful, room comfortable and very clean, the breakfast delicious. The owners are so gracious and accommodating. On departure day we were leaving early so they even made us breakfast to go and sent me off with one of the books...
