We stayed here for one night and only chose this hostel because they had hot water. They locked the front door at night, so you have a curfew which was a little annoying as we had to hurry up with our pizza that way. Rooms are not at all soundproof, the guy in the other room (not next room) was...

They have a specific time to go back to the hostal, so is difficult to enjoy freely the night life of the city. To much rules like no smoking, don't make noise at night, and so on. And the owner is not nice.

The rooms are cheap and fine, and the location is good. But the staff is unfriendly, so I wouldnt come back here: they showed us the room, we took a few minutes to put our bags in the room, and thenI went to the reception to ask something about the city, and then the manager(?) became angry saying we should...

We stayed for two nights. Our room was one of the best rooms we had on our 2 months central america trip and it was really cheap. Great wifi, hot shower, clean towels, clean sheets, no bug bites. Location is perfect. The staff was not really friendly nor helpfull.

I got a single room here for 1 night (400 Cordobas). The mattress was super-firm (which is typical for Nicaragua) but everything was (reasonably) clean. My biggest complaint was that there were no electrical outlets in my entire room. This was strange b/c there was a TV and a floor fan in the room, but no outlets to plug them...

Spent one quiet night at this reasonably priced a/c and WiFi hotel. Nothing special but clean, warm water and friendly folks. Very central. At 28$ a good value. The central Parque is a few blocks away, and there are plenty type of eateries nearby.

Ok so this place to look at is great! Pleasant entrance area and great location. First of all I always check bed sheets to make sure they are changed and they were. I checked to make sure floors and bathroom areas were clean. All looked good. We checked in around 2pm had our showers, after my shower I realized I...

300 cordobas put this clean-looking hotel with friendly front-desk staff on the move-in list. Glacial internet, intermittent shut-downs of both the TV and, vastly more inconveniently, the hot water in the shower, and no cups at the lobby drinking water stand showed things aren't always what they may seem at first blush. Waking up with several dozen insect bites is...

Hotel Central is located in the center of Matagalpa...the benefits are city services are within walking distance.....the drawback is the it is very noisy 24/7 The hotel is clean but the staff not always available. Nevertheless, it is one of the better and safest budget hotels in Matagalpa, I have stayed there at least one night for the last 6...
