First of all you are staying in Central America not America or Europe so if you go expecting to be waited on hand and foot and all the amenities you are you used to you are setting yourself up for disappointment.

There is a communal bucket shower, which is a big barrel and you have a bucket to scoop the water out and over you. Our kids thought it was really neat. You do get towels in your cabana. We stayed in the Bottle House... More
There is a communal bucket shower, which is a big barrel and you have a bucket to scoop the water out and over you. Our kids thought it was really neat. You do get towels in your cabana. We stayed in the Bottle House which has its own private bucket shower and the Beach House has it's own private one as well.
