I had plans to stay here based on the reviews. I went to see this place, which is through a yucky marsh; and the lack of hot water, dingy rooms, inhospitable owner, and shower in some sort of concrete ghetto made me turn away. I asked the owner if there was ot water and she said yes as long as...

This place is truly a lovely setting. The family that runs it is exceptionally lovely. It is more like you are a guest at their house than in their hotel. The only thing is that there is no hot water and no a/c. While it appears that this should not be an issue with the breeze, it IS! There are...

We had a great time staying here for 3 nights...we wished we would have extended it. Location is good, can walk to "town" within 15 minutes in one direction and the beautiful Picnic Beach 15 mins in the other. The owners were great, made us feel at home. They were very helpful in providing information about the island, recommendations on...

Just returned from my 3rd trip to the Corn Islands and I highly recommend La Princessa. The owners go above and beyond to make your stay a great experience. They answer emails very quickly and you can trust your reservation. The food is outstanding, just make sure to make a reservation. Accommodations are very clean and comfortable. The property is...

I stayed at La Princesa for a week in mid April. When I originally went, they were booked, so I waited for 3 days and came back. Such is the beauty of this place. Both isolated from the rest of the island and a short walk from the marina, this place is easily the best in Corn Island, hands down....

I stayed here with my boyfriend for three nights, and we both loved it very much. First of all, the owners are so nice and hospitable, they were very helpful and present when we needed them. We stayed in a room, not a bungalow, but it still felt like your own little casita. The room was big and rustic, clean...

We moved from another hotel to La Princesa de la Isla after finding it on a bike ride around the island. We instantly fell in love with it! You feel like you are on your own island, yet so close to everything. It is beautiful, and romantic. The history of the hotel is wonderful to explore. Our hosts and their...

This beautiful family run b&b with a restaurant was an amazing surprise. Two generations live n the property and take great care of it. The Italians are known for their style and this place is a real testament to that trait. We stayed in one of the bungalows, just steps from the waters edge. Large & airy with a rustic...

We had a wonderful time at La Princesa de la Isla! The cabins have been built using local material and craftsmenship. Check out the beautiful roofs made of palm leaves! And everyone can see that the owners decorate the place with lots of love: not only the rooms, but also the gardens and common areas. This is not so common...

We spent 5 nights in La Princesa de la Isla and definitely I think it´s the best choice in the Big Corn Island. The accomodation is in walking distance to the village, to the port, to the airport and it is situated directly on the shore! The nearest coral reef is few meters from your room! The Italian couple Costanza...
