What an amazing place and what a heart warming experience. Rodrico, despite the language gap always found the time for a chat and explained us all about the Mayan Calander and sugar production. We had amazing home made local dishes and there is a great variety of wine available. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the patio for dinner and...

The host and staff did all they could to make our stay a pleasant one, including assisted with local phone calls where we were offered to use their line so we could save the very expensive calls from our cell phones: Room was spacy and tastefully decorated: Nice patio and fine breakfast:

I had to spend a night in Coban, Guatemala on business and this hidden gem of a boutique hotel made the trip entirely worth it. The rooms (there are four) are clean, modern and tastefully decorated with local Mayan artifacts. You have everything you could possibly want but the very best part is the attentive staff. They went out of...

Stayed regrettably only one night - should have stayed a week (at least). Very small boutique hotel (4 rooms at present) that's also a de facto museum of Maya artefacts, an extremely friendly owner and staff... This hotel in some ways replaces the Coban museum which has since moved to GC. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Casa Q'eqchi' for two nights. Although we got there very late at night, as soon as we got in we were greeted with great warm hospitality. We felt safe; the place was clean; the room was comfortable and had hot water. The breakfast was tasty and it included real espresso or cappuccino coffee. A water cooler was...

This is a family run hotel (home). The family are some of the nicest people I have ever met. My room and bathroom was nice. Some bugs; some quite large moths in particular. The home is so pretty. I loved the decoration in the common areas and in my room. There's a nice hammock and some tables and chairs in...

Casa Qeqchi is exactly why we try and avoid homogenised hotels and resorts that could really be anywhere in the world. Behind the high walls is a four room B & B that was originally the home of one of the owner's relatives. All of the rooms are large and our bed was extremely comfortable. The rooms open onto a...
