Our last stay here was 2014 & we gave it a great review then. We have the same opinion this time - exception accommodation & service for the price (even excluding breakfast). A really good stopover option if visiting the islands in the Gulf. Trat is an interesting provincial town for a quick visit. Mr Tuu is very helpful with local advice & travel arrangements. Definitely recommended.

Pros = Location, friendly helpful staff especialy Mr Too, immaculately clean, hot powerful shower, comfy bed, value for money. Room 2 very quiet on side of main building Cons = Does not provide breakfast, other than fresh coffee and toast. However, if like me you need to start the day on a full stomach, the manager recommended a breakfast spot less than 50m away, which did a variety of great beakfasts. Overall, would definately stay again if visiting Trat.

Delightful owner, Tuu, very helpful - gave us a map of the town, which we would never have found our way around without it. Unfortunately, as Chinese New Year, his favourite restaurant was closed. We tried his next recommendation, and was fine but, in retrospect we would have preferred the night market. The rooms are along from the bar/office, off the road. Large room, large comfortable bed, table with desk chair, aircon, fridge, kettle, hairdryer & full length mirror. Long bathroom, shower good. Our only recommendation would be for mosquito coils/spray - we actually bought a tin from a 7eleven store, as we could see we’d have a problem overnight otherwise. For breakfast, Tuu can offer coffee, tea & toast, but he suggested he could arrange for scrambled eggs, if we wanted. It was lovely, really fresh, well cooked eggs on bread, accompanied by fruit. Tuu’s coffee was the best we had the whole trip.

A real gem in Trat ! Very nice rooms, super comfy bed, manager very kind, and excellent coffee from north Thailand. We stopped there for 1 night on our way to Koh Kood. Situated in the old town of Trat.
