Rude lady staff on duty - from asking directions over the phone to face to face encounter. We had to leave the resort as she wouldn't give us the type of room we booked online, pointing to wanted to the foreigners' rate.

We stayed in this hotel after a visit to Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda. There are separate cabins for each room. There is a truly lovely pool which was a great and very pleasant surprise for us on a hot day. We arrived with a group of 21 and were served a romantic dinner on the lawn in the evening We highly recommend...

This is a charming resort with around 30 individual superior and deluxe cabins spread across a well maintained park. The restaurant block is nearest to the entrance driveway and there is a separate late night bar located on the superior side of the park. You may wish to be located well away from this if you want a peaceful night...

Couldn't speak more highly of this place! Even though it's further from Golden Rock than other places, it's worth it! Like other reviews mention, it really is a garden paradise, the pool is amazing and the new bar (I think it's new) was a hidden gem and has a pool table which was a rare find in Myanmar, the food...

We went to Myanmar for almost 3 weeks and one of the organised trip was to Kyaikhtiyo. We stayed at the Thuwunna Bumi Mountain View Resort. It is a little hidden paradise where you immediately feel so relaxed - staff are so attentive and food was incredible. I have travelled around a lot of places in the world, this might...

I was there and had a nice stay. I could appreciate the nature in their beautiful campus. I stayed two nights there, 1st night in a Superior room and 2nd night in the Deluxe beside the swimming pool. I can say this type of hotel will cost much more in Yangon and it's a hidden treasure within the budget -...

On the way to Golden Rock from Mawlamyine, stopped here for lunch. The restaurant was well decorated and there are little houses for the guests. There is an in house plantation and the tall trees keep the surrounding cool in the hot afternoon. Food was decent which can be expected at these resorts and tourist price. 4 persons cost MMK38900.

Beautiful nice resort with lovely staff. Downside is that it's quite expensive and remote. It's still a journey to get to the Golden Rock. I would say it's a good backup if you cannot find anything decent near the Rock.

This hotel is very nice - we wish there were more like this in Myanmar! The location is great, the rooms are small but comfortable. Some of the rooms are quite far from the reception building, although walking through the garden is quite nice. Because of that distance, we only had Wi-Fi in the area near the reception.
