It must be put in prospective that tourism in Laos is growing after years of being in the doldrums, with the standard of the hotel industry possibly being some years behind the more developed countries; that being said and reiterating many of the past comments for this hotel, rooms are spacious, clean and with firm beds, but not so hard...

We stayed at the hilltop Vansana Plain of Jars Hotel for two nights while visiting the Plain of Jars after a long road journey from Luang Prabang. We had a spacious VIP room (almost a Suite) facing the valley behind the town with good views. The Room included a large fridge and a comfortable lounge. The bed however was small...

Our room was large and comfortable, and overlooked the town. The shuttle bus service was exceptional. Took you downtown when you wanted, and picked you up when you wanted. This was a necessity as our breakfast experience of the restaurant was poor, so we ate in the town every night where the food was great. Hotel just deserves 4 stars because...

Unfortunately, our experience of this hotel was impacted by two experiences. The excellent food in the dining room was marred by the sight of two of the workers chasing a frightened rat round the dining room before it escaped via the balcony. The accommodation looked very nice but the bed was so hard, I could not sleep and in an...

Stayed 2 nights at the hotel came to see Plain of Jars. Didn't book an airport pick up but was very pleasantly surprised to be met by Mr Souk and taken to the hotel. Mr Souk then became my tour guide for the next two days - probably cheaper prices available but his advantage was good English and excellent local...

Somewhat utilitarian design amongst the greenery, but works well for a visit to Plain of Jars and to find out more about the Secret War. The hotel is located a bit outside the village on a rutted road, so make sure you have some transport. Rooms are large and airy a little dated, but clean sheets and there is a...

Phonsavan - a destination that is truly new to four of us, of course its famous Plain of Jars is a must visit place. The resort situated slightly uphill with the access via a local village. There wasn't many occupants during the low season and we managed to request our rooms facing a lush green of mountain and paddy field....

This hotel offers terrace houses spread over lush greenery. It is perfect for a little bit of quiet and privacy. Do note that you need to arrange for transport out of and into the hotel as it is situated out of way in the countryside. This can be easily done through the hotel. One thing you must absolutely do is...

This hotel when it was built was I suspect impressing and an expensive build. Has the feel of an East European hotel for the party members. The rooms are large and clean but the amenities are aging and just a little Lao as they are all in need of repair or just refurbishment. The bathroom was like something out of...

This is a good hotel. It badly needs a good manager that can train the staff both in providing service and the English language. But, overall it is good. The rooms are big and clean. There are screens on the windows so you can turn off the air conditioning and enjoy the fresh air at 1000 meters above sea level....
