Eight of us had dinner in the their riverside restaurant. Candlelit tables. The $6.00 Mango Twist Cocktails were a hit with the ladies. The traditional Lao chicken stew with lemon grass, kaffir lime leaves and galangal was excellent as was the steamed chicken in banana leaves. Excellent place for dinner.

Stayed here already the second time. Right in town with decent price, value for money. Standard rooms are small but have a perfect view and each room has a balcony. Nothing can really go wrong here.

We stayed here in december and loved it. Clean rooms with comfortable beds and good hot shower. Staff looked after our motorbikes. Had breakfast on the terrace overlooking the river - very nice - with wifi. After biking from phonsovan we needed somewhere nice to clean up and relax. I would recomend this place. they organised a balloon ride for...

Stayed overnight here and we were delighted with the hotel's location on the river. Vang Vieng is a place for adventurous people to do extreme sports like tubing on the rapids etc so it's full of young people and a bit of a crazy contrast to Luang Prabang. We had a lovely drink or two on the balcony watching the...

My boyfriend and I stayed here one night on our way to Luang Prabang and found it to be a very good hotel. We walked from the bus drop-off (after coming from Vientiane) and was glad to find that it was a few minutes down the road and away from all the bars. It's location along the river is fantastic...

Our hostess was Julie, Rachel's mum, and at first we thought another traveller. Julie spends half the year here, and half back in Oz with grandkids. When she found out this was a very special birthday, Julie pulled out all stops and upgraded us. Thanks !!! Cocktails were limited, because most of the spirit bottles were empty, Strangely, rooms with...

I was first assigned room C-6 on the 3rd floor which was a small room with a double bed. It had a nice view of the river and mountains. I had a chance to look in room C-7 when staff was cleaning. This was a much larger suite-type room with the same view. I paid an extra 200,000 kip ($25.)...

The hotel is at one end of the resort making it a really quiet place to stay. The hotel is run by an Aussie lady and her husband. They can't do enough for you, they are also putting back in to the local community and environment. All rooms have a balcony. We could get wifi in the room even though...
