A friend and I traveled to Van Vieng a few days ago and, though the town itself is teeming with embarrassingly drunk westerners, found this guesthouse to be a real gem. It's a minute or two away (by foot) from the beginning of the madness that is "town" (which is a huge plus). If you can manage to go from...

We stayed here for several nights and was everything you need as a backpacker on a budget! We had a double with share bathroom for 60k and was nice clean and simple rooms! The standout is the view you have from the common area upstairs and it's totally amazing to wake upto each morning! The hosts are super friendly and...

Small cramped room,v basic furniture, furnishing.HARD high bed,Harder pillows that weigh a ton..NO BREAKFAST!!!No fridge..You have to carry hot water in mugs to make your own tea/coffee.Was advised to turn in early as everything shuts by 10! We stayed in the rooms with a common bathroom and fan, the rooms are really cozy and are all wooden. Beds have a mosquito net since windows do not have one to prevent from coming into the room, but it makes really good their job from preventing them from biting at night. The common area has a spectacular view to...

We were so glad to get a little bungalow here across the bridge. What a magical place to spend a night. The owner seemed lovely, breakfast was great and the resident dog was super friendly! Totally recommend Champa Lao for character and laid back relaxing.

This place is great!!! First of all, the location is perfect, a couple of minutes away from the main "strip" and all the noisy river bars playing bad techno! :) We booked the bungalow which is situated on the other side of the river / canal, over the bridge, in a lovely garden. It doesn't have the mountain view, but...

Vang vieng is a weird place... The sorroundings are beautiful but the town itself is an ugly place. With choosing Champa Lao the Villa, we made the best choice for us. Rooms are ok, but the patio with the lounging area is just a paradise within Vang Vieng. The people there are super friendly and helpful, breakfast and coffee superb!!!...

To begin with the view of this hostel is absolutely fantastic. Surreal. The WiFi is also great. The beds are sleepable. There is an incredibly cute cosy share area with hammocks overlooking the stunning view. That's about where it ends. The walls are basically just bamboo, which is part of the bungalow charm I guess, however I could hear every...

Mr. Sith and his beautiful wife Nuch will take good care of you. They are truly service-oriented.They exhibit the best of the Lao people and their culture. Their rooms, beautifully appointed Lao style, are in wooden buildings, arranged around a lush, open-air tropical garden courtyard. Varied seating enables you to RELAX and enjoy a superb coffee, fresh baked goods, a...
