No fridge no fridge. Clean room. Good balcony and view. Staff bit stoic. Wifi slow. Breakfast set one day. Buffet the next. Good. Close to everything but towards the quieter end of town. Oh did I say no fridge

Our travel agent has booked us in this guesthouse for 2 nights. Nothing to mention : dirty room, tight bathroom, noisy during the night Not the hotel you want to book if you want to relax after visits. Minus 2 stars hotel Avoid

Certainly not our favourite on this trip, power shot off from about 9 to 11 am, no internet during that time. Rooms aren't ready until mid-afternoon. Front desk has no amenities (maps, brochures etc) and are not helpful in any way. Security is lacking, no room safes although they do have a bank of lockers by the reception desk that...

I visited this hotel as part of a G Adventures trip in January 2017 as a group of 18. First impressions of the hotel were brilliant. The hotel is located on one of two main roads in Vang Vieng, roughly 10 minutes walk from the major food outlets and also 3 minutes walk from the river at which the end...

We booked this hotel on line through Agoda.com based on photos on their site. Well the rooms now look almost nothing like the photos which were taken when the hotel was new I'm sure. The hotel is dated and needs maintenance there are broken tiles on the stairs, threadbare towels and the bedding has seen better days. The shower was...

Great hotel, its location is about a 10 minute walk from the main area of town. Which is good because its quieter at night and in the mornings. We asked for a room high up, and got one on the 3rd floor. The view from the balcony was stunning. The hotel is positioned perfectly to view sunrise from one side,...

The Vilayvong is one street back from the river. Rooms are large and most have a balcony overlooking the river, plus mountain views. Not too much in the way of furniture, but the room still felt warm rather than functional. No safe in the room but there were lockers with keys next to reception. This place seemed to deal with...

A cheap place with descent rooms. Ok breakfast. Make sure that you try to get room on top floor and view towards the river. Fantastic to watch the sunset from the balcony. Central but still just far enough from the bars if you like the quiet atmosphere (3 minutes walk)

The room was fine and the view is stunning. However you have to walk around barefoot in the corridors. This wouldn't be a problem except that the corridors are open to the rain and most of our group fell and got badly bruised. When we asked to be able to wear our shoes for safety we were told it wasn't...
