A truly amazing time. We have quite high standards, especially being residents in Kenya, we're spoilt for choice. Porini is exceptional. Very comfortable camp and the tents are brilliant. The staff are superb. We were very lucky to see some incredible animals as the park is very well populated.

In a remote area of Ol Pejeta Conservancy, this is an amazing camp with an amazing crew. The mess tent overlooks a large watering hole with frequent wildlife visitors! Little John and Lenny were great guides with a great sense of humor. They really want to share the land and their culture with you. Make sure you visit the Chimpanzee... More

We were a family of 3 travelling in September and spent 2 nights at Porini Rhino. The camp was fairly quiet with just 2-3 tents occupied while we were there. Probably due to it being the migration season so most people opt for the Mara. I think that Ol Pejeta and the Porini rhino camp are very underrated. Having travelled... More

Porini Rhino Camp really is the ultimate camping experience - from the second you are greeted by the Camp Manager David you feel right at home. This camp is very special; it is hidden away in a secluded valley with only seven guest tents. The friendly staff make sure your stay is incredibly comfortable; the food is outstanding (compliments to... More

This is the best vacation I've ever had! The campsites our beautiful and the food is very good. The manager, David, was a highlight of the trip. He has a joy for life that is absolutely infectious! Our two guides, Benjamin and Little John, were so awesome. They helped us find so many animals and were very knowledgeable about them.... More

We loved Porini Rhino camp! David (the camp manager) is the best! He had our family laughing the entire time during our two days there, while also providing first class service. The accommodations (tents and camp) were immaculate, the food was excellent, and the safari experience exceeded our expectations. Our “game drives” were with “Little John” and “Benjamin”, both Maasai... More

We are a family of four with two kids aged 13 and 10. We visited Porini Rhino, Porini Amboseli and Porini Lion in mid August. This camp is north of the equator, at the foothills of Mt. Kenya. The mountain in the background makes this camp very scenic. There are only 7 tents, so the camp atmosphere is very intimate.... More

Thanks to David and our wonderful guides as well as the rest of the crew. This was a fantastically welcoming camp with lots of special features eg hot water bottles in the bed and morning cup of tea delivered to the tent. The Rhino Camp was our absolute favorite part of our 3 week trip to Kenya! We visited the Lion Camp as well, which was wonderful but this one won our hearts. It is a small camp of 6 tents located on a watering hole which is viewable from all tents. Giraffes, buffalo, impala, zebras, warthogs, you name it you will... More

We absolutely loved our stay here!! We were welcomed to the camp by David, the manager, who was so hospitable and personable and nothing was a problem. The tents are lovely, clean and modern - the bucket shower, very efficient and creates 'authenticity' to our glamping!! We saw so much wildlife - lions, rhinos, cheetahs, elephants, hippos... The meals were... More
