Sweetwaters is a lovely camp with amazing views of my kenya. He staff are very friendly and always keen to help where ever possible. Spent to night there and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Food is amazing. The bar is well stocked and thanks to John the barman he was just fantastic. I will sure be back in the near future.

Our tent was beautiful and clean, big shower and toiletries supplied (can't take that for granted in Kenya - and very good stuff), comfy beds, only a few meters from the water hole which is lit up at night. And as an unexpected bonus also had a view of Mount Kenya. The buffet style food is really good and so... More

The tent had all the amenities including hot and cold shower facilities. Sitting outside on the comfortable chairs and watching the elephants playing in the water or rhinos using the water hole in just about 100 feet was a wonderful experience. We were able to spot a good number of animals during the safari in the morning and evening. The... More

The rooms are only tents in name. We stayed in the Morani wing which is really outstanding. These are tents that are complete with hardwood closets, hot showers and full electricity. We could see Mt Kenya from our porch and watch the giraffes, zebras and elephants as they made their way to the water hole. It is a lovely property.... More

The moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles, hot towels for faces after a day on Safari and "Jambo." There is a watering hole right outside the the Dining Room and Bar. When we arrived there was a Cow Elephant and her tiny Calf playing in the water with Zebras and Gazelles right behind them grazing!! That night a... More

Stayed here several times in the past and always reserved tents facing the waterhole were honored. This time the reservation was not honored because those previouly occupying the tents decided to extend one day. As a result we were sent to the back row of tents with the condition that the next day will be moved to the front tents... More

My family and I spent last weekend at sweet waters tented camps Serena. I'm not a Fan of camping, so I went already closed minded. But I must say I could do this camping. The tents were spacious and don't feel cluster phobic. And the staff were very friendly. And to top it all the conservancy was really great. Only... More

We are regular guests and were welcomed back warmly. The deluxe tents are quite special with the luxuries common to 5 star hotels. Having this experience in the wild was great. Good service, good food and drink, and great game viewing due to the water hole. Despite my last review, we very much enjoyed the stay and will be back... More

Located in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Sweetwater's is both conveniently located (close to Nanyuki and not that farm from Nairobi) and offers excellent game viewing opportunities - as well as plenty of opportunities to relax in a natural setting for those who are less interested in safari activities. The staff are excellent, friendly, and attentive. The food is also excellent -... More

The tented camp is exactly that, but the tents are huge house tents with electricity, full plumbing, full size beds, all facing a waterhole where the Ol Pejeta reserve wildlife come to drink and bathe. You are reminded to zip closed your doors else the Baboons will be in and reek havoc! Within two hours we had seen four of... More
