We spent 11 delightful days diving from this resort. The reefs are among the world's best. Of 850 species of coral worldwide 750 are found here. In all of the Caribbean there are only 75 species. Our personal dive master, Yoeri, was from the Netherlands and attended to our every desire. He even toted our cameras and served wonderful snacks...

Diving~The diving is a mixture of sites that lend themselves to wide angle or macro photography in most cases. There is some current on a few of the sites, but nothing like Palau or the Galapagos. No reef hooks are necessary. The sites are all relatively close, with just a few exceptions. If you travel to one of the sites...

From the ease of booking the trip and the outstanding customer service (including chaperoning through the airport in Bali) to the delicious food and superb diving, Wakatobi Dive Resort exceeded all of our expectations. Our ocean bungalow was spacious and comfortable. We loved the outside shower, outside deck area, sun loungers, hammock, wifi, reading lights, personal library of reef and...

I cannot imagine a better reef diving experience than the past 10 days diving Wakatobi Dive Resort. The reefs are pristine, the soft corals too numerous in variety to attempt to name, the fish species incredibly varied (check out Broadheaded Crocodile Fish on line for example). The staff, dive and resort, were wonderfully helpful and friendly. The food was delicious....

This is our second time to Wakatobi. When my now husband proposed he said we have to get married at Wakatobi. I said of course! It being where he took me on our first official couples date so I gladly agreed! As no surprise it was just amazing again! We stayed in Villa 2, which for the special occasion they...

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at the Wakatobi Dive Resort. An amazing intimate resort looked after by lovely hospitable quantity staff who couldn't do enough for you. I think they only have accommodation for 58, which means it has a lovely feel to it. The restaurant food and service was the best I have ever experienced in...

Just a 5 day stay-recommend a longer one with the extra flight to get to the resort. Our ocean bungalow #14 was just perfect-I suggest the oceanfront as the inland rooms had no view or breeze. Meals were buffet style but varied and incredibly well presented and prepared. Diving was fantastic with some of the most heathy coral reefs that...

The divining here is one of the top 5 locations. The reefs are untouched, and something new to see every day. The food here is 5 star. The service here is top notch, they are all most helpful. I brought pencil and paper for the school kids, and nylon guitar strings for the guitar players. Steel strings will rust. But...
