This place is great. You need to reserve and look at the pictures online to see your site. There are some issues with getting a level spot. There is a bathroom and bear proof containers. There is a sink in the bathroom , and a faucet and place to wash dishes and dispose of grey water. Although we had warnings...

We enjoyed two nights at Crane Flat. We booked site 312 which is off the 3rd road once you enter the campsite. That site is relatively flat. Two of us were in a small campervan, the other in a small tent and it was easy to find flat enough areas to sleep well. The toilets flush, there were only 2...

Only 3 bad things about this campground: 1)FILTHY bathrooms! They had toilet paper and trash strewn all over and no one ever came to clean until the last day (we were there 3 days). 2)apparently people just leave whatever they don't want and no one comes to clean up. We saw a set of chairs that were left behind by...

I loved camping at Crane Flat. The campsites are relatively big so you have plenty of room. You can also gather your own firewood and there a lots of fallen trees from which to gather chunks of wood. An ax would be helpful but we didn't need one and found lots of wood from gathering it on our own (although...

We booked site #536 in early August. We loved it there and would book the same site again without hesitation. Bathrooms: we weren't right next to them (thank goodness) but could easily walk to two different ones that were fairly close and far exceeded my very low expectations--they were clean. Remember, there are no lights and no soap, so plan...

We stayed on site 116, very uneven, but most sites are uneven. Other than this it's more like an overflow campground when all sites in the valley are booked out. Try to stay in the valley, also avoids to commute on a narrow and windy road.

Loved this campground. Just far enough away from the valley that you felt the peace and quiet, but not so far that it was a terrible drive in. The elevation made it cooler than the valley too which was great. It has nice big spots with trees and rocks and plenty of room for setting up. No showers of course,...

This camp, on the far western end of Yosemite, is quiet, secluded and well maintained. The sites range from good sized to large. there is plenty of shade and several bathrooms with running water and flush toilets. The one big drawback is that there are no showers. The closest shower is approximately 30 minutes away in Yosemite Valley and they...

Great campsite located near the back. Nothing but woods behind us. On 4th of July weekend, I lost my gold wedding band at campsite #424. I believe it's somewhere near or around the firepit area. If found, please turn into campsite host (#425 near restrooms) as they have my shipping information. Thanks for your help and enjoy this great campsite.
