Love this place for a long weekend. You have the best of both worlds, a bed to sleep on and access to a hot shower, while spending time in a wooded rustic setting with amazing trails everywhere. The main office/restaurant provides free hot coffee in the morning - be sure to get a cup :-) We found it helpful to...

We love this place! It is peaceful, clean and overall, wonderful! The food is terrific, too! Wonderful, home made great food! The accommodations in the tent cabins are comfortable & they are spacious, love the setting with trees, the river flowing and the amazing granite outside the tent cabins.

Clean, spartan canvas walled tents on a concrete floor. Fresh linens and blankets, a table, chair, lantern and firewood to start the wood stove are also included. Four single beds per cabin. Tents in the 50s and 20s are away from it all and quieter, though this is a silent place after 10 PM. However, these tents are a bit...

The "rooms" are large tents on a concrete base, each with beds, and a wood burning stove (Wood is provided each night). The rooms are not why you are there. The surroundings are beautiful and refreshing. You can hike or ride a bike right out of the lodge. The staff will make a packed lunch to take on your adventures....

For those interested in visiting Yosemite for hiking & lodging, Tuolumne Meadows Lodge Tent Cabins provide the ideal location. The outdoor experience is exceptional. The camp has what is necessary for staying a few days or even a week in one of the most beautiful national parks.

The tent cabins are fun. They supply beds, linens, firewood and there are bathrooms nearby. Tuolumne has lots of easy trails to walk, less people than the valley and is a beautiful area. The food was decent, not great.

The perfect mix of outdoors and comfort! It's fun to sleep in a tent-cabin - wood fires in the morning and the shared bathroom make it unique. I love being so close to the pristine Tuolumne River that I can hear it while lying in bed.

Great launching point for altitude acclimation before hiking around the terrific high country. But they gotta get rid of the wood burning stoves! They stink, they choke, they spoil the view, they are dirty, they are too hot then run out of fuel just when you need the heat. Replace with propane heaters and it would be a HUGE improvement.

tent cabins; family style dining with interesting people. Tuolumne Meadows is much less crowded than Yosemite Valley. I'd always prefer to stay in the high country, with great day hikes available. A great place!

We decided to spend a night at Tuolumne meadows lodge in order to more easily accommodate our plan to horseback ride and fit in hiking time. We had a great room at stone man lodge in Curry Village but a 100 mile round trip to go to Tuolumne meadow seemed crazy. We made reservations to stay at Tuolumne Meadows. The...
