We stayed here for one night in a canvas tent with a wood burning stove and looked right out onto the stream. Its a wonderful location but you definitely need the fire going at this time of the year! The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food in the restaurant was tasty and not too expensive. Its worth... More

As many of the reviews have stated, "lodge" is a misnomer: these are canvas tents on cement platforms with wood-burning stoves for heat. Beds are cots with thin plastic mattresses (note to staff: can y'all flip them every once in a while?) Lodging options along the Tioga Road are limited (RV, car-camping, Tioga Pass Resort, White Wolf--still closed as of... More

We just returned from 3 nights in tent 39. Front desk was always very friendly as were other staff. Would have chosen a different tent if we had realized how steep a climb it was to get to from parking lot and bathroom and how often we would be making that trip (everything in and out of bear boxes). Tents... More

The tents are not much - raised cots with sheets, wool blankets, fire wood for stove, a folding table and chair, and a lantern. We had #53 - private, but up a slight hill. We opted to bring a sleeping bag and hat rather than using the stove, and more light (another lantern and flashlights). We walked directly next to... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, it was wonderful! We had just come from a city hotel in San Francisco and we're looking for something a little different - the accommodation in Tuolumne Meadows Lodge is basic but a fantastic adventure my children aged 12 & 10 loved it - as did we. The food in the restaurant is great,... More

After navigating the Yosemite NP reservation system for several days - we were able to secure the nights we needed at Tuolumne Meadows Lodge. Once on-site we found the desk personnel and restaurant workers to be very helpful, friendly and efficient. Enough canvas cabin space to store luggage under 4 single cots but also have a wood-burning stove and center... More

I would of rated this place 4 stars if they allowed cooking. They will not let you boil water or make coffee. Ridiculous. We camp in bear country frequently and we cook! They have a restaurant there and they cook!! It's silly. Oh and there is a campground within walking distance and you can cook there. Hmmm....feels like a money... More

As our first time in Yosemite - I think we were totally spoiled with the location. The campground nearby was full as was the lodge, but it still felt as if almost no one was there - in the best way. The lodge sits on the river and Miller Cascade. You will fall sleep to the sound of rushing water.... More

It initially took me 2 weeks of calling every day to get rooms. The online reservations never came up with any availability. So I would call one day and be able to get 1 night. So we ended up with 3 nights in 3 different "rooms". We took this as an adventure. By May 9, we had our beds situated... More

We stayed here for 2 days as part of our honeymoon tour of the USA and it easily sticks out as a highlight. The outdoor feel of the tent really captures the feel of the forest and we will never forget our trip here. We loved the communal style seating arrangements for the restaurant, we met some amazing people we... More
