beautiful property! We can't wait to return. Rustic charm in the heart of Yosemite. You can not beat the location. Don't miss dinner in the dinning room. We experienced some personal service. I wish the gift shop had more exclusive items.

We stayed in a "classic" room. The bathroom was small, the closet was quaint, the view of the Falls was magnificent!! This hotel was, after all, built in 1927. Eating dinner in the dining room is a must do--you cannot believe it until you've experienced it -- the early birds get the window seats. Probably best to park your car...

Open the windows in your room before going to bed and enjoy the smells and quiet. Get up early and experience the peacefulness before the crowds start coming. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and what was also nice is that we were not bombarded with music during the meals.

From the moment one enters The Ahwahnee peace & serenity are the norm. The setting in Yosemite National Park made me feel like i was walking into a sacred, hallowed sanctuary. The staff is phenomenal-so gracious & courteous. The Ahwahnee boast native American decor & rustic charm. The massive common areas are truly spectacular. Grand views are offered from every...

Too expensive for what offers... Restaurant needs reservation even if you are a guest, snack bar menu terrible, serving terrible junk food like chilli dogs, afternoon tea, just have cookies to eat. Location is far away from everything, you need to pick up a bus to reach the village.

The Ahwahnee is WELL worth the work it will take to get a reservation and the price you will pay. We stayed two nights (for us that was perfect). When we first booked Yosemite in the late fall for a summer vacation, we couldn't get near the Ahwahnee. We took what we could get in the park. Over the course...

Overall, the hotel is pretty nice. The room was clean and we had a breathtaking view. The staff was super friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the price. You can rent a much better place elsewhere for the same price of $600 a night. But I understand, being so far in the mountains, they have a lot of expenses...

What an amazing place to stay in such a stunning setting!! The Ahwahnee is rich with history and culture combined with beautiful staff and breathtaking views! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and very well maintained. Rooms are a little small for a family of 5, but you are hardly in it, out exploring or relaxing in the lounge! A little...

What is there to say about the Ahwahnee that hasn’t already been said several times by 1,700+ other reviewers? It’s an iconic, historic national park lodging facility that really requires no one’s approbation. I initially suggested that we observe our 50th wedding anniversary in December by attending the Bracebridge Dinner. While my wife was enthused about the prospect of spending...

This lodge is incredible. The view from our window was breathtaking. I found the room and bathroom to be spacious and comfortable. The next morning, coffee was set up on the floor above our room. So nice! You will want to take your coffee and lounge for a bit before breakfast and a hike. So much to do and so...
