Well. lets start on arrival. Valet parking excellent. All OK so far. Check in disaster. Very very rude and stressed receptionist. Even forgot to give us our room keys. As a previous reviewer said 'This place embodies everything that is wrong with the world today. The place calls itself Majestic; however, it has no shame in charging $800 a room...

Good evening Phil-I-am61, Thank you for your frank and candid comments. It is not a proud moment for me reading about your experience. I am not going to offer any excuses. We are better than this and I am very sorry we let you down. I would very much like the opportunity to speak with you and am hoping you...

It is very difficult to get a reservation here, but perseverance may pay off if you check frequently. We lucked up with getting one night here after a first night at the Lodge. It is great fun to be here, though surprising how small (only 97 rooms). It can still swarm with people, particularly during the day, and at times...

The hotel is very old and rustic, very very lovely nestled just below the big mountains. We were in room 421 which had a view of the Yosemite Falls. The decor of the rooms could use some updating, however there was a notice it our room that says updates are coming this year. The beds were not that comfortable, but...

The hotel is just reopened after renovation. The will is superb as it locates in the middle of the park among the mountains. The lobby and the dining room are so gorgeous, especially if you can get a window table that you can enjoy the great view. Internet wifi is available with low speed. The coffee at the lobby is...

My sister and I, in our eighties, spent two nights in this splendid historic hotel. It is uptodate with very comfortable rooms. The hotel great public rooms are preserved and there were roaring fires in two of the three gigantic fireplaces (the weather was wet and chilly on our last day). I had a delicious cappuchino and sticky bun in...

Very good hotel with spectacular views and good service! The price level is at the same time really high, and the rooms are not big so that's why it is not 5 star in my book. But go there if you can afford it, because it is certainly worth a trip!

If you want to be in the center of Yosemite valley for walks climbs or just sight seeing this hotel is perfectly positioned. Slightly expensive but you pay for the views and the location which at this time of year includes several beautiful waterfalls. Staff are very attentive to your requirements and overall a 4 out if 5 experience.

We stayed at the iconic Majestic Hotel at Yosemite (formally named the Awahanee Hotel). It was a special, one of a kind experience. We could see Yosemite Falls from our hotel window and could bike to another waterfall easily from the hotel. The hotel itself is loaded with history and beautiful murals, stencils and weaving from the early 1900's. The...

This is a great historic dinning room with wonderful food, ambiance and service. We brought our 8 month old daughter here and they treated her well. They even had a healthy option for her on the kids meal that didn't include fries:) My husband had the hamburger and I had french onion soup. Both were delicious. Well worth stopping here...

The location of The Majestic Hotel (formerly, The Ahwahnee Hotel) cannot be any better! It is within walking distance to Yosemite Village and Lower Yosemite Falls and lots of other great national park attractions. The scenery surrounding the hotel is absolutely breathtaking. What I loved most was that there was a perfect view of a small waterfall right outside our...
