Please don't tell anyone what a special place Yosemite National Park really is. Let's keep it our secret. The beauty and splendor of the walks is mind-blowing. I travelled there from Florida and brr, it was cold, but the fresh air and views were so incredible. We stayed at the lodge, and it wasn't fancy, just plain and simple. That's... More

A power outage occurred a day prior to my reservation. By 8pm one announced fix had not happened. At that point the hotel should have notified me before I embarked on 5 hour trip to Yosemite. But they waited until 9:20am the next day on the excuse that the power "might" be repaired. By that time I was near Yosemite,... More

Sometimes it's not about how fancy or how new accommodations are. Sometimes it's the staff who can really make or break your experience with hotel accommodations. Yosemite itself is a such a magnificent place to behold that just being there feels like an overwhelming blessing. It's so ironic that it can fill you with so much pride to know that... More

Yosemite is a wonderful destination. Would encourage all to see its beauty. Our rooms at the Lodge were simple, clean and conformable. The drawback is its popularity. We stayed 11-23 through 11-26-2016 and was very disappointed and discouraged not with our accommodations, but the inadequacy of planning to address the overwhelming popularity of Yosemite Valley. Bumper to bumper traffic, creeping... More

Stayed here early November for one night. Selected Tenaya Lodge outside of park for second night -- Mistake. We wish we had stayed here both nights. Convenient, clean, quiet. Our room had been remodeled. It was a nice large room with a very comfortable bed. A table and chairs, big TV and Wifi. I expected spotty Wifi service but it... More

I stayed here for two nights. The lodge is located inside the national park which is very convenience. You can visit most of the places in the park by using free shuttle which runs every 10 minutes. The room itself is pretty old but still ok. The main drawbacks are 1) wifi is extremely poor. I feel as if I... More

We had a great stay. The hotel grounds have a food court (cafeteria style), restaurant, and bar. Everything closed early (10:30pm last call at the bar. People come for the beauty and hikes, not the nightlife). The buildings are older but clean and adequate. It's a combo of rustic camp and hotel. Park your car upon arrival and take the... More

I think we were there at a good time of year, late October, because while there were crowds, it wasn't packed, and getting around and up and down trails was easy. This place was very nice - we got the most expensive room, which was huge and had a set of bunk beds Very clean, and had a rustic feel... More

My wife and I stayed at the Yosemite Valley Lodge the last week of October, 2016 when the Valley was full of fall colors. Although the Lodge is far less expensive than the Majestic, it is still expensive. What you are paying for is the location, which is one of the most beautiful on the planet and right in the... More

Greetings, We visited this hotel early november and stayed for 3 nights. We were located on the second floor in the hemlock building in a room with queen beds + bunk beds. The room itself was fairly ok for two people - i wouldn`t consider this as a room large enough for four people , like two adults and two... More
