We stayed one night in the Moran Lodge at the Canyon Lodge. We probably would have reserved more nights to stay in the park, but since we had only planned our trip in April there was limited availability. The Moran Lodge is a short drive from the front desk. The room was new and very crisp and clean. The bed...

We stayed in a Western cabin in the Canyon village. The cabins appear to be quite old, but are in good repair, quite large and well decorated with cheesy Western furnishings. The area was rustic, quiet and just a short drive to village shops and restaurants. While hardly a luxury hotel, the cabins are in a great location if you...

We enjoyed a peaceful night at the canyon lodge cabin. It's nestled in the forest and shares a wall with one other cabin. We could hear conversations from the adjoining room, there aren't TVs in the park lodging rooms. It was $80 less than our stay at Old Faithful Inn. Lodging inside the park is worth the cost because you...

These were nice/new rooms, but for $300/night I expected a little more. There is no lobby and it was a little confusing to get to. I understand that the area is still under construction, but a little more signage and explanation at the check in desk (in a different building) would have made a big difference. Parking got a little...

My husband and I recently stayed three nights at Moran Lodge in Canyon Village and thoroughly enjoyed it. Moran Lodge is one of the new lodges in the Canyon area and definitely is NOT your typical National Park lodging. Our room was a good size and very clean and light. The bathroom was well-designed and we liked that there was...

Our cabin was great. Perfect location for us, as we had our 2 labs. However, we had difficulty with several things working, such as the pay phones in the lounge since the wi-fi is limited. Also the ice maker around the cabins could not keep up with the demand. A language barrier with some of the college age staff. EX....

I had planned a last minute trip to Yellowstone during a sold out period and after checking the NPS site daily was fortunate to pick up a cancelation at Canyon Lodge & Cabins. Given I had not really had a choice as to the accommodation, I was delighted to find the new lodges at Canyon Lodge are fabulous. I understand...

My husband and I were fortunate to secure two nights at Canyon Lodge without much advance notice. The Canyon Lodge has added new lodge buildings and one opened up just before I called for reservations. Landscaping had not been done but we loved the new rooms and buildings. We had two days to explore Yellowstone and we found the Canyon...

The location of the lodge is difficult to find. But it is close to the higher/lower fall sightseeing. The cabin is quiet and spacious. No microwave and refrigerator as no cooking in all the accommodations in the park. I doubt that several cabins share one water heater because the hot water only supported one person, others had to wait for...

My husband and I, along with our daughter, son-in-law, and three children (10, 8, 4) stayed in the Cabins at Canyon Lodge. The accommodations were great: comfortable beds, hot showers, plenty of room and warm bedding. We stayed three nights and were able to see much of the Park including Bison herds (bulls in rut and cows and calves), Elk...
