We stayed at the Chittenden Lodge and loved it. We stayed in the Queen room with 2 double beds, Patio and facing the woods. These are the most recent additions and gives you great access to the canyon. There is in fact a trail from the lodge directly onto the North Rim Trail. The bathrooms are small and understandable given...

We stayed two nights in a cabin. I was shocked at the cleanliness of the cabin and how big it was. Yes, they are expensive for not having TV, wifi, or air but you're not a Yellowstone for the room. The cabin was located near the ice machine, walking trail to a canyon overlook and the Canyon Village. We had...

I stayed in Moran Lodge. The room was very big and had every amenity I'm used to in a hotel room - except a TV. I thought it would be more like glorified camping, so I was pleasantly surprised. The floor in the bathroom was dirty on the night of my arrival and it stayed so through out the 3...

We stayed at the brand new Canyon Lodge in July 2016 for five nights. At the registration building, there was a large bull bison grazing right near the entrance. Check-in went very smoothly. The old Canyon Lodges were replaced in 2015 and continuing through the end of 2016. One lodge opened in 2015 and two opened in May 2016. We...

Our room was newly remodeled. It was clean, comfortable but sparse. The room had a coffee maker and small fan .It was a warm evening so we ran the fan all night. There was no television, which we already knew when we booked. There was no radio and it would have been nice to have a radio in the room...

We stayed two nights in one of buildings that belong to Canyon Lodge. One doesn't have a choice to pick the building or to at least ask for a floor, etc. The building we stayed at had 3 floors and no elevator. There is no luggage cart to take the luggage from the parking lot/car to the stairway and no...

We got a room at the Chittenden Lodge in Canyon Village and we were pleased to learn that it had opened only 2 months and was brand new! The lodge was mammoth from the outside, which was deceiving, because the room we had was not much larger than a college dorm. The furniture which our high fee included was a...

Two nights, Aug 6 and Aug 7, 2016. Canyon Lodge is a perfect place to stay for those who want to watch for wildlife in Hayden and Lamar Valleys and for those who want to explore the overall Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. We were housed in one of the 5 new large modular buildings that are replacing the out-dated...

Canyon Lodge and Cabins are situated in Canyon Village, Yellowstone Park. The Lodges are newly built and large. I counted 4 of them, some of which were not yet ready for occupancy in June when we stayed. Our superior room was a good size with two queen beds. The facilities included a fridge, filter coffee maker, a large flat screen...

Wow. We were a group of 7, with three adults and four young children ages six-eleven. We had this lodge room and a campsite. Kids could go from one to the other. This premium room was beautiful with plenty of room and wonderful accommodations. We loved the small thoughts like a bear soap. Youngsters loved it. Very clean, comfortable beds,...
