There are no bugs at this site. Our campsite neighbors said they'd stayed the night in canyon and they were beating eating by the bugs. But here we didn't get one bite!! Very close to Old Faithful and many other popular spots so you can...More

The camp ground was as you'd expect. Nice scenery, a place to swim, a place to hike. Flush toilets and clean campground. HOWEVER, prepare yourself for an unnecessarily long check in. Holy cow, it took forever as many of Yellowstone campgrounds do. There was a...More

This camp ground is mid size but with small lots and it was packed. It does the job , however, Staff was friendly and check in and check out was quick. It didn't have any showers but the bathrooms were clean. The trash situation was...More

We spent 2 nights in July at this campground, right next to the bathrooms (which were clean and well-kept). The site was huge and, while not a lot of privacy from other sites, was big enough to be away from others. We checked in pretty...More

Madison Campground was very nice. Grounds are very well maintained and bathrooms were clean and TP was always restocked. Most camp host/volunteers were very accomadating - we had one camp volunteer that was annoyed that our reservations we made on line a year prior were...More

The geysers are SO spread out- so we drove to each one. Once you're at each one, there are many opportunities to walk/hike. Yellowstone is immense- and each section of it is as well. You will love it!
