    We pulled in after the ranger station was closed. The campground was full, but we had a reservation, which was posted on the window of the ranger station with another two dozen reservations. The campgrounds are big, but there were a lot of people there....More

    700 campsites. 2 clerks to check in. Takes forever. They have an endless checklist of items they must brief you on. Give me a break. It's a campground. End Xanterra and bring back the national forest service.

    Grant Village had a great pitch for camping! It has toilets that don't require you to take a dump in a hole, and they're clean and fine. No hot water though! Grant Village has a store that has all you'll need. There's a gas station...More

    Yes they still give 2 free showers per night camping....Anything more than 2 you have to pay for....

    Some of them had good selections of fresh vegetables, bread, and dairy products. The best selection was at Canyon, but Grant Village had a few things too. Depending on how you travel there, you could also stop in Casper... More
