We were able to call the night before and book a stay in the campground. Because people make reservations often a year in advance, there are many cancellations which make this possible. If you want to stay in the same site for several days, you should call for a reservation because they reserve individual campsites. I recommend arriving around 8...

Upon our arrival we were given a thorough explanation of the park facilities. Our RV site was clean and level on asphalt. The rest rooms were always clean with flush toilets. There was even a special sink for washing dishes. The drinking water was especially good. The hiking trails are not mapped but we easily found our way to the...

The loops are pretty wide open - but you have lots of space. New trees have been planted but it will be many years before they fill out the space. The location is great. There's a store and marina conveniently located directly across the road. The staff is very friendly. Bathrooms are well located and clean. The only thing that...

Best thing about the campground is it's location - centrally located between west thumb basin and canyon village and right next to the Yellowstone lake. Not many amenities like shower or laundry or even tent peg hooks (at least for our camp spot). But really best place to be in middle wilderness action. On both nights we stayed in Bridge...

I stayed for one night in E loop in a 4p tent, fortunately I did not get the dreaded A-D loop which is an open field in the sun with tons of people around you. E loop was shaded with trees and had a view of Lake Yellowstone which was nice. The field had deer and a fox wander through...

Not what I was expecting. There was no level spot for tent and was rocky. Our Texas state parks have tent pads in the tent areas with sand squares to set up tent on, This is what I assumed for here too. We cancelled 2nd night after Sleeping on rocks on a slope - Of course no refund for 2nd...

Bridge Bay is located right on Yellowstone Lake, so there are plenty of walks and trails from the campground. The campground is huge and the roads can be very narrow - especially with big rigs. Restrooms are clean and well maintained. Showers are in Fishing Bridge, about 2 miles away. There is great ice cream at either the Fishing Bridge...

We camped two nights and I agree the tent sites in C loop lack privacy but the moose munching breakfast 100 ft from our site c-165 was awesome! The staff we encountered were kind and helpful. Our tent neighbors were pleasant and we enjoyed chatting w them. We arrived on Sunday and left Tues. Monday eve was noisy w a...

Bridge Bay is a decent campground, but you need to be aware of what loop your site is. A,B and C loops are exposed with little shade. We stayed on G loop which is shaded and gladed. Nice view of Yellowstone Lake and 2 bison paid our campsite a visit. This campground has a store at near the marina and...

We stayed 3 nights and not enough. Would do it again. We saw 5 Bison the first day along with Elk and some sort of mink or something. The mink had a mouse in its mouth. The people working are super friendly and we had a 34 foot RV. Buy firewood at Fishing Bridge as they were out all three...
