We camped here for 3 nights in June. Nice campground and facilities. Good location to major points in Yellowstone. We even had Elk and Buffalo that frequented the camp. The shower facilities are at a different location, but not far away.

When I stayed there, I didn't see any measuring going on. I think as long as you are not obstructing any passage, you might get by. You can always make an anonymous phone call and find out!
