We enjoyed our stay at the Snow Lodge. It seemed quite new. Walking distance to Old Faithful geyser basin. Many dining options in the Old Faithful area...all are fine. We had a double and a single bed in an accessible room (by chance, not design). It was very comfortable if a bit warm due to no a/c during the August...

No air conditioning, no tv, and no fridge Tiny window covered by shutters at night. Bright light from a barn out back would shine in our room all night if we didn't close the shutters. Tiny fan that did not cool the room down enough to sleep.. We thought the fan would be a ceiling fan. No view except for...

Pretty good hotel for a national park. Rooms are roomy, no view, but you can just walk over to Old Faithful. All the restaurants are run by the same company so you can charge anything in the complex to your room. Room was more than a bit noisy. Don't get an end room in the xx50 range if you can...

What a great hotel this is, we loved staying here in August, 2013. Rooms are beautiful, location is a short walk to Old Faithful, so when the day crowds head out of the park, you will have the geysers to yourself. They have a wonderful common area with couches to sit and enjoy a drink after a long day of...

Overpriced room with fancy decorations, however poorly designed when it comes to functionality. There is not enough ventilation (just a teeny tiny window) - added to the heat (there is no A/c in the room) can make the room extremely stuffy. We had to keep a portable fan right next to the window to cool the room (using an extension cord)...

You can walk to Old Faithful and the historic Old Faithful Inn. We stayed on one of the cabins. It was very clean and roomy. It is one of the few areas in Yellowstone where you can cell and internet service. The menu food was good in the main restaurant as was the breakfast buffet. Many nice drives in every...

Stayed here for 2 nights to visit the southern part of Yellowstone park. This is the most "modern" place in the park, and although it doesn't have the atmosphere like the older hotels (we stayed in the Mammoth hotel before this hotel), it is very good. Parking can be an issue, as the hotel is probably at the most touristic...

Although the snow lodge is large and very touristy, it is definitely worth staying there if you are touring around Yellowstone National Park. It is an ideal place to break up the 'loop'. The plus with the hotel is that when the day tourists leave, you can sit and watch Old Faithful without having to secure a place early.

Stayed two nights, on top floor of the hotel. This was far better than expected. After reading reports on tripadvisor that indicated old faithful inn was the must stay place and this just a full back, I was expecting something very bland and boring. On the contrary the all wooden interior was smart whilst rustic, the rooms whilst modern included...
