As a Fellow of Sustainability at Saint Louis University, I try to "walk the walk and talk the talk" when it comes to travel as well as everyday life. I was pleasantly surprised to see the Xanterra sustainability report in our room at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge. Xanterra walks the walk and talks the talk! In regards to the...

This review is of the Snow Lodge Western Cabin. The room is just alright, not much to be excited by or displeased with. The upside is that the room was clean, bathroom was fine, location was excellent (they're just behind the "new" General Store on the South end of the Old Faithful area). The downside is that the beds are...

We stayed here for two night, the rooms were nice in size, clean and no tv, which was great. The big problem I had was the noise. I knew everything the people on both sides of us and the people above us were doing, and then early in the morning the garbage and deliveries come pretty early. We were on...

We stayed all lodges and cabins during this trip. We stayed at Old Faithful Snow Lodge Western Cabin on 2 Sep 2013. We reserved 2 Queen beds Cabin. My boyfriend and i thought it was the best place we stayed in Old Faithful area rather than Old Faithful Inn. Everything in Cabin was new, clean and nice. It even made...

After our stay at the canyon lodge cabins(which we named Tenko) the snow lodge was very welcome. The room was in keeping with the park, it was a nice touch not having tv, wifi ( you are suppose to be in the wilderness). However the bar and dining room suffered from lack of staff and there were long waits for...

We stayed at the Snow Lodge 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. Check-in couldn’t have been easier or more pleasant. Everyone was extremely friendly. We had our baggage brought up to our room and were given a full run-down on the area during the process including dining and shopping options and the top things to see and do in the...

We stayed in a cabin for one night after spending the previous three in a Canyon village cabin. This one was better, it seemed to be newer, and had a Keurig coffee maker with a selection of coffee and teas, and mugs instead of paper cups. It is called "OF SNOW Lodge cabins", there are also "Old Faithful Cabins" which...

16th August Our cabin had two double beds (not queen), as advertised. The room was a good size, clean and had a coffee maker. No a/c but the nights get pretty chilly so we didn't consider it a problem. The room did have a heater however. We paid $113 which we thought was good value. As has been mentioned by...

I don't mind paying good money for a good room but not when it is $240 per night for a room with no air conditioning and no TV. It was so hot the week of Labor Day that I was ready to sleep in the lobby which was the only cool place.

We enjoyed our stay at the Snow Lodge. It seemed quite new. Walking distance to Old Faithful geyser basin. Many dining options in the Old Faithful area...all are fine. We had a double and a single bed in an accessible room (by chance, not design). It was very comfortable if a bit warm due to no a/c during the August...
