I've read other reviews, and shake my head. We stayed in the Western Cabins, which are walking distance from the snow lodge. There are snow sleds which you can put your luggage on and pull to your cabins or there is bell service if you choose. Yes, these cabins are rustic, but they were clean, warm and accommodating, no they...

We loved every bit of the snow lodge! Our second floor room was great - simple, quality rustic decor. The lodge space on the first floor is inviting with panoramic windows, fireplace and comfortable seating everywhere. We enjoyed the restaurant, too, with its good food and great views of the beautiful snow-covered landscape.

Now the park in the winter is a very special place. Shame that Xanterra, who runs the hotel, can't perform basic housekeeping duties. There is only one place to stay in the park in the winter, the Snow Lodge and Cabins. It is obvious from our 3 day stay that no effort is made to do adequate cleaning here. The...

We spent 3 nights at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge and were quite surprised at the comfort and elegance of the place. The room was large with a very comfortable king bed and a view to the side with the holiday lights. Upscale soap, shampoo and conditioner. We were on the second (top) floor which was quiet. Room had a...

This is an attractive National Park quality accommodation, with comfortable rooms (no TV) and very good food and service in a comfortable lodge setting. But you are not coming here for Four Seasons amenities, you are coming to experience wild Yellowstone in winter. And there is no better way to do it. Arrive by snow coach and be sure to...

We stayed here for our 1st 2 nights in Yellowstone. Check in was fine and location was great. Unfortunately, the most memorable part of this hotel was the constant noise from the room above us. We spent such little time here, only to sleep and shower, but the noise would not let up. It literally sounded like buffalo were roaming...

Nice hotel. The only one open this time of year near Old Faithful. The room was decent and clean. No TV and wiFi was $12 a day. Plenty of skis and snow shoes to rent at reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed our stay there for 2 days. Would like to have stayed longer as there...

We recently spent two nights at the Old Faithful cabins. During the winter, the only accommodations available are the Snow Lodge and the associated Western Cabins. The cabins are about 150 yards from the lodge, a beautiful but cold walk on a winter night. The restaurant, bar, and gift shop are located in the main lodge. The cabins are actually...

We are a family of four and had two cabins(connected to each other) at 20 below that is a great thing. We were in the middle of nature with great service. The employees we met help us with everything, the meals were four plus stars, staying in the park gave us a lot more time to enjoy! When you come...

This Lodge is AMAZING. But be clear, we came for the history of this piece of America and it does not disappoint. We spent a snowy evening is the lodge listing to music and having a few drinks. BEAUTIFUL. The beds - painful. The amenities are old - some work - some don't. But again - go for the sear...
