The facade of the hotel implies that it will be impressive, but it truly is not much more than average. The rooms definitely do not have enough hooks or space for storing extra jackets. If you're with a family that needs chargers for phones or laptops then this hotel may be a bad match because they're are very few plugs....

We stayed three nights in cabin. It's "rustic" and reminded me of my childhood visits. No surprise when u find out that they were built in 60's. Definitely kitsch but we loved it. The surrounding area is breathtaking and we skied all over the area. Also took Canyon ski tour which we highly recommend. Thanks Matt and Alex for making...

Visually impressive facility that does not deliver the fundamentals very well. Checked in to a room full of marketing items where the room temperature was below 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Tried for 2 hours to get the heat to come on and failed. Called maintenance. Service tech who responded was at the end of the last shift for the day. He...

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night on Sept 16, 2016. We were in room #3046, which was a premium 2 queen bed room, located on the 2nd floor. Parking was not an issue, both during the day and overnight. As advised on the website, the room had no TV, no air-conditioning, and no safe. There however were 2...

This was a bucket list trip. Had been trying to get here over Christmas for awhile and we finally did. Room was clean and enough space for the little time we spent in it. It is expensive at this time but it was worth it. Lots of animal sightings, fun things to do, hiking, geyser watching, and Christmas cookies. There...

Staying at Yellowstone Old Faithful Snow Lodge was a magical winter wonderland we will always cherish. The location just steps away from Old Faithful and totally immersed in this nature sanctuary exceeded our expectations. In addition to tours, hiking, and cross country skiing, the holiday ambiance at Snow Lodge was a most welcome beginning and ending to each day's adventure....

We stayed here for few days. Worth the money. Tip: Frontier cabins give you the national park aura than the premium rooms (saves a lot of money too) 1. Friendly management 2. Convenient to see all popular geysers specially in the winter 3. Firehole basin winter adventure tour is a great option to see the upper and midway geysers 4....

So let's be clear at the outset -- Yellowstone National Park, in the winter, is like no place else on Earth. The thermals, animals, scenery, snow, forests, skiing, snowshoeing, everything is straight out of a picture postcard. Spending a winter week in Yellowstone has been on our bucket list for decades, and we finally made it happen this year. It's...

When making reservations, I went back and forth on where to stay. I planned our trip "late" (by Yellowstone standards) and much of the lodging was full (I was able to get lodging by checking every single day online). I knew I wanted to stay on the Old Faithful compound but was not sure which place. I ended up with...

Staying at the Snow Lodge has been on the wish list for a while, but I must say it was rather disappointing! You can't beat the location in the heart of the park and near Old Faithful. However, this hotel has no soul. There is nothing that really screams "national park lodge" about it. We thought that being "newer" it...
