Lovely house (built in 1908) with comfortable rooms and an inviting wrap around porch. Nancy (owner) makes this place ever so special with a scrumptious breakfast prepared by chefs from the culinary school, great conversation (but never intrusive) and a very inviting atmosphere. Loved the fact that you could roam the house (over 7000 sq feet), peruse the many books...

We had many family members there to attend a wedding in Cincinnati and had the entire Clifton house all to ourselves and this was tremendous. Nancy Niehaus baked brownies and, thereafter, there was no one in the house except our family. When most of our family left, we stayed a few days and the other travelers there are interesting people,...

I was in Cincinnati on business for 5 days. Clifton House is a beautiful, old mansion in the Clifton neighborhood near the university. The owner/operator, Nancy, lives on site and could not been more helpful. The rooms are large, very comfortable, and very clean. The breakfasts, prepared by chefs from the UC culinary school, are extremely good. The neighborhood is...

My husband and I stayed at the Clifton House for our first wedding anniversary. The Clifton House is BEAUTIFUL! We stayed in the room that had the roof top garden. The owner is the friendliest and most accommodating hostess we've ever had. We felt pampered. We really enjoyed her sense of humor, too. The breakfast was fantastic...so, delicious! We are...

On our annual trip across country, we usually stay in Cincinnati for a one or two day stay. We have stayed at some very nice hotels while traveling through - The Mariemont Inn, The Marriott Kingsgate Hotel, The Queen City Club, and the Hilton Netherland Hotel.....all are worthy. This trip, however, we read about Clifton House in this Northern suburb...

.....14 of us gathered at the Clifton House from all over Ohio and beyond. Lovely accommodations. It was comfortable and inviting as we sat around the table, in the living room, and in the chairs on the porch for long stretches of time while we talked and caught up. Nancy is a wonderful host and very helpful. Our group filled...

Nop notch elegance, comfort, food, and friendly service! We loved the antique furniture, woodwork, stairway, and original artwork. Very interesting history from Nancy, who made us feel right at home. The chef's gourmet breakfast was excellent, and his food stories were fun. We loved it, and would recommend it to all!

We were lucky enough to stay in the cottage at The Clifton House this past weekend. It's a two story retreat that is separate from the main home and is very cozy and comfortable. The bedroom is upstairs which is a large room with an adorable window seat. The main home was beautiful with a stunning wrap around porch. We...

We came up to visit our son, who is in the DAAP program at University of Cincinnati. The Clifton House is located very close to the school. It is walking distance to a neat community of shops and restaurants. It's very safe to walk at night. We stayed in the cottage. The cottage gives you room to spread out, but...

My son attended UC for the past 5 years and it wasn't until his graduation that we discovered the Clifton House. He lives on the same street, otherwise we would not have known it was there. A delightful place to stay. UC hosts many visiting speakers here. Walking distance to university and restaurants (Ludlow). Quiet neighborhood of nice homes with...
