Usually I'm not one to complain about hotels and am happy to sleep anywhere but as far as value for money goes, the Sheraton Waikiki is definitely overpriced for what you get, and outdated. What you are paying for is purely location and the resort facilities - the rooms are in desperate need of renovating. Our room was $420 +...

Went here with family to enjoy the pools and spending time with my 4-year old niece. The kamaaina rate was a lot lower than the regular rate and came out to about $240 a night. I love the lobby area as it has a fresh, modern, clean feel. You are welcomed by the beautiful turtle artwork as you approach the...

We loved staying at the Sheraton Waikiki...its walking distance to all the shops. It has a relaxing pool side bar and cafe. It is right on the beach and the service we received was great. My partner was there for a conference and my son and I had a ball relaxing by the pool. He went for a surf at...

Very old rooms - not re-modeled since the 70's. I got a room on the fourth floor and the receptionist told me that my room was upgraded. I walked in and it stank of mold and mildew. It was a weird room with 3 beds and the bathroom was old and the faucets are rusty and hard to turn on...

Sheraton Waikiki may be a little tired looking, but it is a very comfortable and accommodating hotel in the heart of Waikiki, surrounded by great shops, restaurants, bars and of course only a few steps to the beach. We stayed in a room with a view of the ocean and the beach (so facing Diamond Head) and the balcony was...

The employee, Filippo, who worked at the pool side Maui Jim sun glass station made our stay much more enjoyable. I just wanted to put in a good word for him. He was very attentive to us and assisted us in every need during our stay.

For the fellow SPG platinum, pros: beautiful lounge on the 30th floor and free valet services, Received upgraded room! great staff and concierge services. Cons: run fire bar has turned into a club, pools and lounge pool seating are over crowded. If you want a beach covered chair "cabanas" or beach lounge chair on the beach, be ready to pay!...

This is a large hotel with great rooms and great views (if you pay for ocean front/view). The rooms aren't huge but more than ample for a couple to exist for a fortnight. The rooms are very clean and everything works perfectly. The room is serviced daily to a very high standard. The hotel attracts (like most other Hawaiian hotels)...

Stayed here with partner and 2 friends in October 2012. We had booked 2 Ocean View club rooms through our travel agent, Our experience was somewhat different to the our friends. Upon arrival (we arrived approx 9.30am) we were advised that an early check in was not available and they handed us a buzzer ( I had requested early check...
