We visited this hotel for a one night stay at an over priced rate "for what we got" of $181 a night. My boyfriend asked for an ocean view with a king size bed. We get to this tiny room and long and behold it is a partial ocean view, I saw more of the other guest than the actual...

I like to be on this end of Waikiki overlooking Kapiolani park and facing Diamond Head. Friendly staff and excellent rooms and affordable. I come here on business and pleasure through out the year(s).

I just stayed 4 days in an ocean view room - views of Diamond Head and the ocean lovely. The hotel is an old beauty but the situation across from the zoo and Queen Kapiolani Park wonderful. The pool deck/bar/dining area on the 3rd floor is huge, clean, lots of loungers and a great view. A bonus for those with...

Although there are many competing hotels, this one did it for us. The price was right, the location decent and the amenities were acceptable.in fact this is the perfect hotel if the beach isn't your daily objective. It's close to everything yet far enough away from everything else to keep the most down.

Horrible old hotel. Lobby is nice but that's about it. Rooms have thin Windows and single pane old Windows. Can hear cars and people talking all night long. When asked about it at the front desk they basically said that's too bad... You're in Waikiki. What does that mean? Roof was peeling and had the old popcorn roofs. Old carpet...

We stayed here earlier this month for 5 nights before departing on our cruise, and returned for 2 nights before coming home. We had booked a City View room via our travel agent. Post cruise, we were upgraded to a Junior Suite which was appreciated. Yes the hotel is older and could do with updating but it suited our needs...

..... I can find an affordable rate. Actually booked online through the hotel's website based on a sale email I received from Aqua Hotels.. so got 25% off the regular list price for a Diamond head view room. Called and asked for a high floor on the corner and had 18th floor (sub penthouse) with an unobstructed view of the...

We stayed here for two nights on a recent trip to Honolulu. I would agree with the other reviews that the hotel provides basic accommodations. We found the room to be comfortable, clean, but a bit dated and worn. We were on the ninth floor and had a balcony with a view of Diamond Head. The view is what took...

If you are looking to travel to Honolulu and budget is a concern this may be a consideration for you. While the hotel is not perfect, it does meet the needs of someone that is not looking to spend countless hours in their room but as a base to get a good night sleep to recharge for your beach time...
