This is a nice hotel but it needs to fix a couple of things. If you stay here try and get a room that's higher up. It might cost a little more but the street and back alleys get quite noisy both during the day and night. The rooms themselves are actually quite nice but this spoils it a little....

Stayed two nights with my wife and two teenage daughters, while we waited for our time share on the west side of the island to become available. The hotel is showing its age and the rooms are ok, the beds will try to eat you when you lay down (very soft) and the carpet had this feel of "I really...

Booked this hotel for a college graduation trip. Didn't want to spend too much, but still wanted to be near the beach. The hotel was only a block away, and it is on the road next to Kapiolani Park and the zoo, great location. We walked just about everywhere. Used the bus to get to Safeway for some groceries, and...

Very nice hotel with beautiful views---we had a corner room so had full view of Diamond Head and also the beach. The staff and parking guys are friendly and efficient. Have stayed here before so chose it again being at the end of Waikiki where traffic and crowds are not as bad, even though other hotels offered lower rates.

We stayed at the Queen Kapiolani Hotel for 10 nights. We had two rooms and were upgraded on both. We had a diamond head view and oceanview and were upgraded to an oceanview and junior suite. The oceanview was a nice view but a little cramped in space. The junior suite was great! Had a small kitchen with sink, microwave,...

The 1st day in the hotel we spent in a horror room 203 - its just above the back entrance so you'll hear everyone smocking or chatting there. This room was not renovated and had a horrible sprinkler tube hanging in the middle of the room - DONT SETTLE FOR ANY ROOM BELOW 5th FLOOR - they are old, bad,...

I chose the Queen Kapiolani because it had excellent rates and was located near Waikiki Beach and was across from the Honolulu Zoo. I was pleasantly surprised at what a nice hotel it is. We got there before check-in so we had to leave our luggage with the bellman. He was so friendly and helpful and took very good care...

My parents and I stayed here recently during a visit to Oahu. We absolutely loved our stay. We were up on the top floor so the views of Diamond Head from our room were breathtaking. We overlooked the Honolulu Zoo which is right next door, and could see elephants from our room!! The staff are very friendly and we were...

This was a business trip for me to Honolulu. This has been the worst experience I've had to date. Staff is nice but the property is old and aging and everything seems to break. One of the Elevators keeps going out of order, when I went to use the laundry room (I;m here for 2 weeks), that was out of...
