We booked on Hotwire and must have been given the worst room. Although there were 2 twin beds, there was only room for one suitcase. The other suitcase had to be placed on top of the in room safe. The room did not have room for a chair, so we had to sit on the beds and wifi was spotty...

We arrived at Waikiki Beach knowing where our hotel, the Queen Kapiolani, was located as we had seen it there when we visited three years ago. It is one block from the beach, and across from the Zoo. We read the reviews on Trip Advisor and chose a standard room first our two week stay. Photos showed desent size room...

First impressions were not good when I arrived at the Queen Kapiolani the bell hops were very friendly and helped with my case but this Hawaiian welcome did not stretch as far as the reception desk. I never found any of the staff at reception particularly friendly during my time at the hotel unlike their colleagues working elsewhere in the...

This was a very clean nice hotel. It is in a great location. It is old and needs updating but it is clean. There are no decorations that make it very plain. The windows are the shutter type were either broken or very loud with the wind or don't keep out any noise. The hotel is in a great location...

Stayed here with my adult daughter in late November 2016, I had visited Honolulu before and knew it was up the quieter end of town which suited us, close to beach, the Zoo, bus stops, shops and cafes. A little worn around the edges and in need of some maintenance and update still very comfortable and staff attentive and made...

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel whilst on honeymoon in the beautiful island of Oahu. For those with special occasions to celebrate, do not expect any 'extras'. At most, you get what you pay for at this place. Buckle up - it's a less than smooth ride... Plus points: - great location, near to Waikiki Beach and...
