The Hyatt Place is a decent choice. Our biggest complaint, and this would make us seriously consider not returning, is that the elevators take FOREVER!!! There are two elevators and 19 or 20 floors. Waiting to get to the room was excruciating. I did not attempt to take the stairs to the 18th floor but I seriously considered it. Other...

A short walk from Waikiki Beach, the very busy Hyatt Place is worth considering. The staff did a good job keeping up with demand. Even though its a side street, Paoakalani Avenue can be noisy. City buses stop on the corner of Paoakalani & Kuhio, very convenient for getting around without a car.

If you are looking for a resort hotel, then Hyatt Place is not for you. However, if you are looking for a nice hotel in downtown Waikiki at a reasonable price, then this is your hotel. It has a good location, just off the beach by 2 blocks, and when on the upper floors has a good view of the...

The hotel is right across the street from the beach and there is a designated area for Hyatt customers where you can receive service, such as lounge chairs and towels. The rooms in the hotel, especially the ones facing the ocean, are large, comfortable and quiet. The high end paperless Toto washlet toilets are in the bathroom. Buffet breakfast is...

What a nightmare our 10 day stay here has been... We trusted the other TripAdvisor reviews and, well, I guess we just got unlucky. They have 2 elevators for 19 floors and one is broken and won't be fixed for at least 2 more weeks. So, it takes (clocked it at 17 minutes yesterday while holding my breakfast tray) forever...
