Alright, lot to say about this hotel. First and foremost, would I stay here again. Yes, but it would not be my first choice. Because it is an "Asend Collection" it gives you the impression of something really impressive, it is not. Average yes, much higher priced average. Although I didn't research it, maybe not so much considering it is...

From the moment we pulled up to the hotel, it was one amazing staff person after the other. They have the sweetest valet I've ever met in my life. Renee at the front desk was the essence of hospitality. The room was clean and quiet, with a large refrigerator, a few blocks from the water. The price was fantastic. Plus...

They messed up our reservations. We did not get the balcony room which we paid extra for. I will take this issue up with my AAA travel agent. Desk staff did not seem to be familiar with immediate area and was of little help with directions, recommendations, etc. At least they had free mai tai's on Friday night.

My family and I had the most fabulous stay at the EQUUS Hotel from Oct 27 to Nov 2,2016. Pooka and all of the front desk staff were very friendly and provided my family and I with excellent Customer Service. Our rooms were serviced and cleaned daily. I highly recommend this fine hotel hands down. I have been in Customer...

Very welcoming from the second I came to the front desk. Rene made me feel like a king because I support choice hotels and she gave me extra special treatment ( very easy to join and quickly adds up to free room night). The room was an amazing upgrade and very comfortable. Really felt valued by all staff the entire...

We came in on a Friday afternoon and were greeted by the bellman (forgot his name) who helped us with our bags. Rene at the front desk gave us a warm greeting with plenty of aloha spirit and we were quickly offered fresh pineapple juice and a mai tai at 5 pm. Our stay was comfortably Hawaiian with an airy...

We enjoyed our stay at the Equus Hotel. Can't beat the location surrounded by much more expensive hotels charging well over twice the cost of the Equus. Yes you need to carry your luggage up from the street level- but this should be no surprise as it is clearly stated in their web page. From where you check in-there is...

The first bad thing about this hotel was the stairs up from the road level to reception. It's a double flight with no lift - not good with luggage. Next was the overwhelming traffic noise in the room. Ironically, the AC was the quietest we'd encountered in the USA so we couldn't use that to neutralise the traffic noise. We...

Once you get to your room, it's great! The room is clean and very roomy, they have a larger then small ice box and they have a miniature Keurig coffeemaker with lots of options which was awesome!! However, before you can get to your room you have to lug your luggage up a 2 flights of stairs just to get...
