This intimate boutique hotel is a tranquil oasis in the heart of Waikiki. With a prime location, you'll step outside to find the best shopping and dining at the popular Waikiki Beach Walk and Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. Or just relax at the hotel's sundeck and cool off in the outdoor shower or dipping pool. Here, oasis is an experience and not just a name.
With our amenity fee, Aqua Oasis allows guests to enjoy many hotel services and activities without having to incur miscellaneous charges. These amenities include daily continental breakfast, WiFi internet throughout the hotel, beach towels and chair rentals, Daily Newspaper, In Room Coffee, In Room Safe, Local & Toll-Free Calls, Water in Lobby, and free admission to Bishop Museum and The Honolulu Museum of Art. In addition, our spacious rooms feature a deep soaking tub, an iPod alarm/radio, and a private furnished lanai.
This was a good value option. The room on the 8th floor was quiet, the beds comfortable and the room clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Front desk is manned 24 hours. The included breakfast was basic but more than adequate, and saved us money and fuss from eating out for every meal. The location is central to nearly everything.
My fiancé and I stayed here for our trip to Waikiki in June. Our entire experience was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay. The garden, pool, and pond in the lobby is adorable, the guest service agents were all beyond helpful, housekeeping was amazing, the room was great (especially that tub!), and the location was convenient for everything in Waikiki. We often just walked everywhere! We would stay here again next time we visit!
Great location with walking distance to beach, shops, restaurants and bars. Staff was always friendly and accommodating. Not fancy but nice boutique hotel that was reasonably priced. Would stay here again.
Recently took a Cruise of the Hawaii Islands and stayed at the Oasis the night prior and a couple nights after the cruise. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great (couple blocks from beach and plenty of restaurants) and the hotel was reasonably priced.
Hotel is nice and very, very close to the main walking area of Waikiki. Staff is friendly and the room is clean. Even if the building is a bit outdated and the pool (you won't need it) small, the hotel is great as it offers everything you need. Breakfast is also free (few choices only, but will do especially if you are on a budget). Other nice extras: free beach towels and chairs, free Bishop museum (otherwise 25$), cheap laundry..
Location is excellent, at the Center of Waikiki. Personnel is very kind, room comfortable room on street side are a little bit noisy because of neighbouring AC. Breakfast is limited in quality but not in quantity !
I don't generally write reviews but in this case I have made an exception. Traveler beware! I don't know how this hotel's overall reviews were good (maybe fake?) because this hotel was old, rundown, dirty, noisy from people parting on the street until after 3:00 am, they ran out of parking so sent us a 10 minute walk away at midnight to park our own car in a very unsafe area. A very bad experience and not only will I not return, I felt compelled to write a review to warn others of the misleading advertising.
Not the newest of hotels and look elsewhere for glitz & glamour but perfect if you only plan to be there to sleep and are out and about the rest of the time. Avoid a room by the elevator, which cranks on moving, and don’t get distracted by the renovation need and just appreciate the incredible friendliness, the great valet service for onsite parking and superb value for money.
Great price, nice location (5min walk to the beach and close to restaurants), clean room and equipped with kitchen, good breakfast, parking available with valet, late check-in. Only downside is the birds at the breakfast eating in the plate.
The staff was so welcoming. We had a slight problem with the room and they remedied it immediately. Great location. Right in the center of restaurants, shopping, and Waikiki beach. Such an interesting and varied clientele, heard three languages at breakfast. Great price for the area.
