Great hotel in a great location. We had the ocean/wakiki superior room on 8th floor. The view is amazing and the room is modern with a very comfortable bed and a large balcony with table and two chairs. The hotel is on a smaller, more secluded beach than waikiki but if you would prefer the busier waikiki beach it is...

Having read all the reviews prior to my visit May 2013 I was a little bit apprehensive too say the least as to what we could expect. Having arrived after 4 nights in Las Vegas I have to say that first impressions had us fearing the worst. We were allocated a room on the six floor and another room on...

My girlfriend and I had booked a room in the Diamond Head wing of the hotel as it was the most affordable for us and still close to Waikiki Beach. When we arrived on 15 May we checked in and went straight to our room so we could get settled in and make our way out for supper. When we...

I first stayed here during the 1960's and continued with yearly visits into the early 70's but then switched to the Kahala, and most recently, the Halekulani. The Kaimana experience is more low key and reminiscent of Hawaii of yesteryear; but mind you, choose your room carefully as some rooms are very, very small. I had a lovely, renovated Ocean Deluxe...

The New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel is in a lovely spot, tucked not far from Diamond Head and fronting the beach. It looks like a 1960s-era hotel (and some of the maintenance shows) but its location away from the main strip of Waikiki Beach is a huge plus. The hotel is about 10 minutes or so level walking from the...

This is a really nice small hotel located right across the street from Kapiolani Park and away from all of the tourists of Waikiki. It literally takes seven minutes to walk from the hotel to Waikiki Beach. It is super quiet and has an awesome beach right in front of the hotel. It is also within walking distance to the...

We stayed here for 3 nights recently. We had booked an Ocean Wakiki Superior, recently renovated, room but, upon arrival, were upgraded to a junior suite on the 7th floor! The suite was on a corner with a view of Diamond Head in one direction and Waikiki beach and the ocean on the other so we could see sunrise and...

This hotel is right next to the Aquariun and across the street from Kapiolani Park. Very convenient to the zoo and lower Waikiki. Small and intimate and away from busy Waikiki. On the beach. Good food.

Stayed here for a few days on honeymoon and was the most perfect hotel... we had a side sea view that also overlooked waikiki. Hotel was right on the beach and Was only a few minutes walk from central waikiki. Staff where very friendly and helpful and we loved it. If ever get back to hawaii will be staying here...

My sister and I just went on a girls-only trip for 6 days and we stayed at this small gem only 15 minutes walk away from the busy Waikiki area. It was perfect! We were there to relax and that's exactly what we got to do. Since this hotel is located right on the beach, it felt like we had...
